LAT Pull Down and Lift Weight Pulley System Cable Machine Pulley Attachment for Triceps Pull Down, Biceps Curl, Back, Forearm, Shoulder Home Gym Equipment

I've been working out for 30 years at gyms. I decided to discontinue my membership this year due both to cost and the environment not really being suitable for me any more (mainly due to "influencers" and their filming themselves and the young self-absorbed women becoming intolerable) so one machine I was going to miss was the tricep pully-push-down machine that I've used since the 90's. I assumed I'd have to go to the local hardware store and just build this myself. Then it occurred to me to just try Amazon to see if they had something already made that I could just hang up with little to no assembly. And I found this. It was exactly what I needed. I've attached it to a main support beam in my house, which has worked perfectly. I had to add some additional steel clips to get it to fit around it correctly, but it worked. NOTE: I reversed the ends of the cable, as one of the video promotions here also shows; I put the end of the cable that we have to put the locking mechanisms (fasteners) on, on MY handle end, not on the weight end. REASON: I do not know what is under/in that ball, on the other end. Meaning, I don't know how strong/secure it is. At least this way if there is any slippage or breakage about to happen on the fastener end of the cable, I'll be able to see it immediately since I have the rope/grip right there in my hands. In my opinion, this is the safest way to operate it. I have tightened both the supplied locks/fasteners tightly and it hasn't slipped at all. The weight plates on the other end are close to the ground, and due to my low ceiling, I *do* have to bend my knees just a bit due to my (average) height to avoid the plates hitting the ground on my reps. A solution is of course to adjust the fasteners up the cable more, to shorten the cable length. But I've secured them so tightly, I don't want to re-loosen them. The one disadvantage is that if you're not measuring distances, you're eye-balling the distance the cable will offer you on the each end of your final set up. Mine was close enough that I need only bend my knees a little bit to get the full range of motion without the plates hitting the ground on each rep. VERY satisfied. It does exactly what I needed it to and the quality of the materials and overall design is plenty decent, and at a fair price. I need only 40lbs worth of plates at the bottom of the cable, so it's a small set up that works perfectly. Cheers to the creator of it, it mimics the gym pully the way I needed it to. .

Works great

I attached this to the side of my shed and it 100% is worth the money. It was very easy to set up and the build quality is fantastic. Even though it doesn't come with weights you can pretty much use anything you've got (even cinder blocks lol) but the space this saves compared to a real pulldown machine makes it great bargain. It even functions as a curling machine too if you flip it around but I don't usually do that as it is a little tedious switching it back and forth.

This pulldown attachment is a game changer for my home gym. It comes with a strap that you connect it to to the top of my 3 in square tubing on my cage. I attached some photos so you could see how it attaches at the top. So far it's handled the weight but in the future I'm probably going to drill a hole and put an eye bolt and attach it that way. But for now it's handled all the weight I can throw at it. I'll probably buy a tricep pushdown bar later but best tricep rope really lets me get a full extension on my tricep pushdowns. I also put it behind my head and neck and get down on my knees and use it as resistance for sit ups. When I'm done using it I just slide it down to the side and out of the way. I'm so happy that I found this pull down attachment. It is added so much more versatility to the things I can do now. I highly recommend this for every home gym.

Good while it lasted, the hook broke off

Das ist eine tolle Ergänzung meiner Geräte in der Muckibude zu Hause. Optimal zum Training der Trizeps. Korrekt zusammengebaut und an der Klimmzugstange befestigt, ist das ein super Gerät.

J'ai acheté ce kit de poulie LFJ pour compléter mon équipement de musculation à la maison. Je cherchais un moyen de travailler les bras sans avoir à investir dans une machine trop encombrante ou trop chère. Je suis satisfait de mon achat car le système est simple à installer et à utiliser. Il suffit de fixer la poulie à un point haut (j'utilise une barre de traction) et d'accrocher la corde à triceps ou la poignée (que j'ai acheté séparément pour 5€ à decath) au câble. Le câble est assez long et solide, il glisse bien dans la poulie sans faire de bruit. La corde à triceps est un peu basique mais fait le travail. - Il est polyvalent et adaptable. On peut varier la prise en main (neutre, pronation ou supination) et le type d'accessoire (corde, poignée, barre...). On peut ainsi cibler différents groupes musculaires et éviter la routine. Le seul inconvénient que je peux mentionner est qu'il n'est pas adapté pour travailler d'autres groupes musculaires que les bras (triceps/biceps). Je recommande ce produit aux personnes qui cherchent un moyen simple et économique de renforcer leurs bras chez eux. Il faut cependant être conscient des limites du système et ne pas s'attendre à avoir les mêmes résultats qu'avec une machine professionnelle.

It's does the job

Brilliant addition to our home gym! Extremely sturdy and excellent quality! We have had very heavy weight on this and use it pretty much everyday - myself and my fiancé and it is still in perfect condition ! The great thing about this one unlike others available is that you can easily adjust the length of the cable. I would have liked the option of upgrading to more accessories eg lay pull down bar etc but the rope is excellent and the quality of the rope alone is brilliant ! Highly recommend
