I must admit I have a sort of addiction to makeup and beauty tools and gadgets, so when I saw charcoal blotting papers I had to have them right away!I completely love blotting papers, they are great for when you don't want to smear your makeup but need to tone down shine, or if you just need to touch up between washes. Additionally almost everyone out there now should be familiar with the hype charcoal products are getting in the beauty world right now, it seems like they are making everything with charcoal and of course like everyone else I'm keeping the charcoal business alive by buying it all. Though this is one product you may want to think twice on and just stick to your normal blotting papers.These papers are so thin they just shread to pieces everytime you try to use one. They do soak up a bit of oil but as soon as you try to move the paper around your face it practically disintegrates. Now I'm not talking about scrubbing your face either (which some high quality papers allow you to do), I'm referring to just blotting.When it comes to this product I will say yes it does absorb oil but you have to go through 3-4 sheets at a time, and to be honest 1 sheet should be doing that job and not falling apart. Just to note I did order a two pack and the papers from both packs were exactly the same so I doubt the issue was defect related.Note I did receive this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my fair and honest review. My skin is no super oily. I have more combination skin. Around my t-zone it is either super flaky dry or oily. So I got these oil blotting strips to give them a try. They work! I do not wear a lot of makeup so sorry ladies I can't help you with if it takes makeup off or not. But I used it on half my face and then looked at the difference and I could tell right away from one side being shiny to the other looking normal. They are compact and convenient to carry around. These are really good oil absorbing sheets! I love that they are natural. They are in a convenient package to carry around in your purse. Just pull one out, blot and your face is freshened. I also like the elegant design...I would recommend this if you love natural quality products.

These facial blotting tissue works really good . Im a guy with high excessively oily face and this stuff works better than rinsing your face with water . Its sucks the whole oil out of your face. I also like the design too.
