The flavour of this mix was just beautiful. I used it to make a beef Rogan Josh and it worked perfectly. Wonderful blend of spices with a good heat level - enough to make your nose run but not so hot it blows your head off. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes Indian cuisine.

So easy to make the foods I love without going out to spend on it. The quality was excellent and cut down on prep time.

Loved this, but I can't handle this much heat! Delicious, might work if I could use less on a recipe and take out whole chilies, but this has a lot of ground chilies in it, so that wasn't an option. The recipe on the box said it was for 1kg of lamb, but I think you could use the whole box for many more times that amount of meat, to make it less soupy. So instead of cups of ghee, yogurt, and cream, I'd use a tablespoon or two. And only a tablespoon or two of the Rogan Josh spice mix per kg of lamb.

Shan's is a family staple. They've been in our pantry for the last decade at least. Though I believe we might have had them since the late 90's. I had one problem with my order, at no fault of Shan's and they were swift with a reply and helped me with my problem. They have excellent people on their customer service team and are dedicated to sharing authentic Pakistani and Indian flavors. I would highly recommend them, and will absolutely buy from their store again.
