Perfect replacement on my B&S 17HP. Replaced the gasket. While torquing the bolts to 30 ft-lbs, one of them broke. Replaced it with this one and torqued to the low end of the range instead; 25 ft-lbs. This bolt is about 1/4" shorter and a slightly different profile, but works great. The bolt that holds the fuel tank to the motor rattled loose and was lost. Mower started leaking fuel (would pull the fuel line apart) and not run. I wrapped wire around it while searching for the replacement...had a friend who is small engine repair tell me the part number...Amazon had it on Prime~! Fixed the mower and all is well.

As advertised and delivered on time.

Didn't break like the previous head bolt. Ugga Dugga make bolt go snap snap. R.I.P. head bolt 1997 - 2022.

I needed a head bolt for an older Briggs engine. This was the right park and was reasonably priced.
