Works exactly as expected. I used it to transfer files between my SD card and both my phone and laptop. It recognized the card quickly and made file management easy. Definitely convenient to have around.

EDIT: Added a star because the seller reached out to me & sent me a free replacement.I got this because I’m an artist doing digital art on an ipad, and art files can take up a LOT of space, so I wanted to store them on an SD card. I liked it because most lightning to SD card card readers are a cord that in my case, would dangle from the ipad while I’m working, which would damage the cord. I thought getting this would mean I wouldn’t have to worry about that but a couple weeks in I bumped it & now I’m having issues with the SD card not being seen by the ipad. It plugs in just fine but the SD card will just randomly disappear from the file directory while I’m working & I have to unplug & replug a couple times for it to appear again. And weirdly enough, I’ll have the charging cord plugged into this & it won’t stop charging even when the SD card disappears, which would make me think the problem is with the card & not the lightning end, the the SD card works fine in my computer.Also the caps are a little annoying because they look like there’s no “backwards” but if you don’t put it on the right way then the lightning cap will stick out instead of aligning with the adapter & the USB-C cap is very tight when put on the right way but doesn’t fit on at all the right way (again, the caps look like it shouldn’t matter, there’s no indication of a right or wrong way to put it on).So yeah, the thing is cheap. One little bump and now this thing is incredibly unreliable. I’d shell out the money for a better quality/sturdier one if I could find any.

This card reader is fantastic! I particularly wanted to easily transfer photos and videos from my phone to an SD card. This little card reader actually has 4 connection options as well as the insert for the SD card and additionally has a place to plug in a phone charger so you can do dual duty when working on transferring files. The directions are easy and very clearly stated. This little device is making file management so much easier!

It works better on our smart TV and laptop than it does in a cellphone. But it is useful to have especially for uploading trail camera pictures

I bought this to transfer and store photos because my phone has too many photos and videos. I almost bought an extremely expense one but opted for this because of the reasonable price point. This photo stick is easy to use and very quick and convenient to store photos. There is adequate space and easy to transfer around from home to office. It is easily compatible with my android (google plus) phone and connects easily. This was a GREAT purchase.
