Grassy and pleasant
Moringa is one of the superfoods being recommended for anti-inflammatory diets. Since I enjoy drinking tea, I thought this would be a good way to introduce this into my daily beverage selection. I like the loose leaf quality, and the resealable bag is very simple to use and store. The directions call for quite a bit of tea per cup. I have a teapot that comes with a built in strainer, so I simply fill the strainer to the top with leaves, and that seems the right amount to make a pot of three medium sized mugs. I’ve found that you get the best flavor when you wet the leaves with boiling water and let them sit for a minute before filling the pot all the way. I let it steep for five minutes, then remove the leaves from the pot. The taste isn’t too dissimilar to a strong green tea - a bit grassy and a slight bitterness. I don’t mind the tang, but the addition of a teaspoon of raw local honey adds both the right amount of sweetness and an additional health benefit. Reducing inflammation in your body is a long term process for lifelong health, so there isn’t a way for me to judge Moringa’s effectiveness in that regard. However, this is a pleasant way to add that benefit into your healthy diet.

Happy with It
You get a lot of loose tea in this resealable Ziploc bag. When I opened the bag, I noticed how finely chopped the Moringa was. Next, I noticed that the scent reminded me of old tobacco. I know that sounds bad, but it’s actually quite a nice scent. Just not what I expect from tea. Fortunately, after brewing it, the tobacco scent disappears and the tea doesn’t taste anything like tobacco. In fact, it has a very pleasant taste. The flavor reminds me a little of shredded wheat cereal. It’s nice and somehow soothing. My husband and I like it.We find a lot of green teas taste fairly similar but this one’s taste is distinctive. We do long brews in a 60 oz thermos with built in infuser so we don’t need as much loose tea as you might for a quick brew. Two heaped teaspoons get us 6 cups of medium strength tea after 30 – 60 minutes. Without a thermos you will probably need more.I’m really happy we discovered this tea.

Good tasting and nutritious tea
This is the first time I tried Moringa tea and I have to say I really like it a lot. The flavor is good. It is earthly, grassy and slightly sweet. There is a very mild hint of bitterness if the brew is strong enough. The taste sort of reminds me of some Chinese tea but without the astringency. The color of the tea is a nice yellowish green. This arrives in a resealable foil bag. The dried leaves themselves are broken into tiny pieces together with a small portion of what appears to be veins or stems but they are super thin. They are very thin and light. I put about 1.5 teaspoonful into my strainer and steep it in 200°F hot water for about 5 minutes. A good tea to have at any time of the day. It is reportedly full of anti-oxidants and good nutrients for energy and wellness. The tea is good tasting by itself but adding some ginger and honey may spice it up a bit.Overall, I'm happy with this tea. Good tasting and healthy. It works well in my little metal tea diffuser. The package has the Lot # and Best By date on it but doesn't say where the leaves are originated from. At any rate, I really like this tea a lot. Easy to drink. It's worth giving it a try.

Skeptical about the taste at first but liked it after trial
In addition to making great tea, it is full of health benefits. In the past, I drank a lot of coffee, but drinking moringa tea once a day has changed my habits, and my skin and gut health have both improved. Initially, I was skeptical about the taste, but after the first trial, I really liked it. It doesn't taste bitter, but rather like raw leaves. I don't recommend using any sweeteners or sugar. This tea has its own unique taste. I highly recommend it.

Great Moringa Tea
I like incorporating Moringa tea every now and then into my morning routine, because it is warm and tastes good but has no caffeine (I gave up coffee a while ago and will never look back!) I was drawn to this tea because it is USDA certified organic and that holds a lot of weight to me when purchasing organic products. This is a HUGE bag! You could make tea for a long time with this amount.
