Adobe InDesign CS5.5 Training DVD - 11 Hours of Training

I work for a print publication, and after using Quark XpressMusic for over 20 years, my company decided to switch to InDesign CS 5.5. I had less than 3 weeks to train myself in a brand new software program, and keep getting the weekly publication off on the press. Since I am a visual learned, not a bookworm, I looked for the most comprehensive training dvd that gave me a hands on opportunity to practice in real time each phase of the program. Adobe InDesign training dvd is am amazingly well thought out instructional to all that moved me from step to step through each lesson so quickly and thoroughly that I was able to apply what I was learning directly to the publication that I am responsible for getting to the process. I appreciated The Narrative of the DVD and how it was disclosed that there are certain files that InDesign does not read properly and that there is a filter that can be turned on to take care of this problem. For example in Microsoft Word bullets are not red buy the InDesign software properly but a simple two handed keystroke takes care of that problem once with in InDesign and there are tips and tricks like that throughout the video that get you up and running very quickly and flawlessly. Each lesson in the video is somewhere between 5 to 8 minutes so it's very easy to devote little chunks of time to the sections of the video and still making great progress moving forward from what was previously. This item wasreceived very quickly in secure packaging. If you are looking for a way to brush up I'm here in design skills or to pick up some extra tips and tricks that you may not be aware of or if you are brand new to the internet this video will get you up and running with minimal if any questions once you're done the DVD tape is 1111 hours in length and as previously stated it is broken up into sections of 5 to 8 minutes tutorials that build up on each other and you can skip right to the section that you need to start from the beginning like I said and the internet's property of the software. InDesign has an environment that feels like an illustrator it's layered pallet comma what is text window works a lot like Microsoft Word so no matter what information coming from experience you have to purchase DVD it is industry standard and it is your time to run through the tutorial over. In conclusion I highly recommend this company and this instructional DVD.

I purchased this product before an extended vacation. I wanted to study In Design on my trip during any spare time. When I attempted to launch the DVD, my computer would not recognize it. I even tried to launch it on the Windows partition on my Mac. Still not recognized. When I got home and attempted to return it to Amazon they told me that I was on vacation too long and the junk product was no longer returnable. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! ! ! !
