Visionary Binocular Tripod Mount (BTM)

I use it to hold my Leica Ultravid 10 x 42 HD bins very securely onto my Manfrotto 128RC fluid head (mounted on the 055 tripod legs). It is a joy to use.

I have a pair of Zeiss Victory SF 8x32 glasses, which have no adapter screw, although Zeiss will sell you their Binofix adapter - very similar to this Visionary model - for a mere £200!As a result, I took a punt on these and am delighted - they work perfectly. Due to the Zeiss design (much bigger than your average 8x32s), the straps fit more towards the front of the barrels but the grip is very solid. Mounted on a tripod, I can look 65-70 degrees upwards with no fear of them slipping.I doubt if these would work so well on Porro prism glasses, but for most roof prisms with 50mm barrels or less they should be fine. Build quality appears robust and the adapter doesn't mark the binoculars in any way or push the IPD out of whack. Highly recommended.

A makeshift answer to mounting binoculars to a tripod

I spent a while looking for a suitable way to fix my binoculars (Nikon Prostaff 7S 10x30) to a tripod. The bins don't have the usual thread for a fixing screw so I needed a cradle of some kind. This works perfectly. It's small and lightweight so easy to carry, and it's simple to attach to a tripod. Time will tell of course, but the strap that secures the binoculars seems strong enough to last.All in all, I'm really pleased with this as it does exactly what I hoped it would.

Fit is absolute perfect and you could easily get a larger binocular into the harness as there is still one notch left to use.All in all, if you are a binocular user who needs a tripod mounted holder, your search has ended.

Disappointed. I have a pair of porro prism 12x50 binoculars and struggle to get this mount to fit them. This should be made clear in the description, especially at the cost!

Bought this to use with 10x binoculars and monopod. I've found it very strong and easy to use, I feel my lovely binoculars are safe and secure and, at less than half the price of the Swarovski own brand, a very good buy.

The tripod mount is easy to attach & is lightweight and sturdy enough to hold my binoculars a good piece kit to have.
