All around solid computer desk
This desk is nice. Configurable shelves, adjustable feet. Reasonably light and very sturdy. When I saw the construction up close I was wary - it really doesn't seem like there is much to it, but this thing doesn't budge! One feature I really liked about it is how the wooden panels all have nylon anchors on the underside that the machine screws bite cleanly into. This is exactly how a locknut works and provided the anchors are firmly seated in the panels, should prove quite resistant to lateral force and vibration loosening the screws. People spoke of badly chipped corners... mine came shipped with these hard plastic covers on the corners and still one corner had the laminate ever so lightly peeled up. I used contact cement and now you'd never know there was any damage. Some things just aren't worth fussing over. Though I would be mad if my $150 desk was actually missing material. That said, the panels are actually really nice! The quality of the printing on the laminate is quite rich and it has a wonderful, textured finish with what seems to be a fairly thick, durable semi-gloss sheen to it. It's probably about as high quality as laminated particleboard gets! I like it! The quality of the powder-coating is similarly fine and shows no obvious flaws. Some types of powder coating seem to chip off easily... maybe poor preparation of the metal beneath? I dunno, but any time I've seen this type of powder coat, it's held up well. It's not the thin type that chips easily. I have a little walmart laptop stand and the difference between the hardness of the powder-coat on that is night and day from this desk. Putting it together was easy. They do give you the tools you need. Every type of screw comes packed in a lettered bag and the instructions are clear which ones go where and how it all goes together. You get one extra of each type of screw. Though I had to laugh at how they wanted you to put the top on. They thought you should lay the top flat on the ground and attach the frame to it with everything upside down. Maybe there's a good reason for it, but all I could think was "I'm not flipping that thing over!" I guess it all comes down to which you prefer... squeezing underneath or attempting to pick the whole thing up and flip it a full 180 on it's end. All in all, a very nice, simple desk. I'm very happy with it. That said, for what it is, $155 is just a little steep. $20 less than that would make it really good value compared to similar offerings. But hey, if this has what you want, the size is good, and you like the look, I'd say it's still worth it!

Good Desk - Great Set
Backstory and Overview: We had a "home office" but rarely worked in it. With COVID, all of a sudden we needed a full office at home. We had a hodgepodge of stuff but me and my husband both needed a full desk, plus his job requires him to sift through tubs of stuff often, so he needed extra room to do that. We had stuff covering our dining room table and on side tables in our living room. We decided to redo the office. We painted and we needed desks and a bookcase. We wanted them to match, but also didn't want to spend a ton. This was the only brand I could find near this price point that had so many matching options! We wound up buying: 2 corner desks: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KG67ZQ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 1 bookcase: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074X7WT6D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And this straight desk. NOTE: This desk was wider than the corner desks, so when right next to each other, they don't line up nicely. We couldn't find the width measurement of the corner desks, so there wasn't a way to know this in advance. Assembly: Assembly was pretty good on all the desks! They provide one extra screw of every size, which is nice if you drop one. It even comes with a little screwdriver, but a regular sized one is easier to use. The hardware seemed nice-sized so we think this is going to hold up over time. The end result is nice and sturdy. The desks all look more expensive than they were! We like the wood look but in a more modern design. It's not clunky or ornate, but not too minimalist. If you buy other pieces from the brand, we were really happy that they all actually matched and they weren't off a shade or anything like that.

Beautiful, Sturdy Desk
This desk is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. It's very beautiful and well made. The packaging blew my mind! The table top had small plastic corners fitted perfectly and then each corner was further insulated with styrofoam and a much larger plastic corner that made it fit snugly and very specifically in the box. Even though the packaging was amazing there was a small scratch on underside of desktop and a small imperfection on top. It was disappointing to be sure but the underside scratch is irrelevant and the blemish on the top is barely noticeable. The box was extremely heavy! I could barely drag/scoot it from my outside front porch thru my front door to inside, living room. Be aware of that, if you are single like me. Main problem is there's no way to grab the box since it's such a large awkward shape. I had to grab ahold using one of the side flaps and then drag it on its side. It took me quite awhile to put this desk together but I am a bit physically challenged and did most assembly while sitting down. Instructions were very good EXCEPT for the section that pertains to which side you want your shelves on. If you want them on the right side, follow along as is and you'll be fine. If you want them on the LEFT you'll need to skip ahead two steps (?) to see that note (it has to do with the lower brace bar). Other than that small thing, by the time I was done, my wrist was definitely hurting from all that screwing with the tiny Phillips head screw driver that was included. But these things I mention are all MINOR in my opinion and worth the end result ... which is a beautiful and very sturdy, well made desk. This is a five star desk and five star manufacturer IMO. Buy it!

Sturdy! Just what I was looking for!
I love this desk! My prior desk was another "do-it-yourself" deal that was twice the price and half the value of this one (the other one was from a different manufacturer and was junk!). I ordered this one, a little skeptical, but maintaining a little hope since it has a metal frame and actual long screws for assembly (no cheap plastic cams and screws). I was not disappointed! It's surprisingly heavy and the metal is definitely sturdy. I don't know the "official" weight load it can hold, but it has my laptop and an extra monitor, and it holds it very well. There would be room for a 2nd laptop or monitor, if desired, and I believe it would have no problem carrying the weight. The shelves are sturdy as well, I have several work-related reference books stacked on them and they are well-supported as. If you're worried that there are no file drawers, a standard 2-drawer file cabinet that fits underneath it easily, and, if you put it opposite the shelves, there is plenty of leg room left (unless you're 7 feet tall, then I would say it might be a little cramped). Assembly was pretty easy. I did it myself in about 45 minutes. I would recommend a second person help to hold the pieces in place, though, because they are quite large and unwieldy. All the necessary tools come with the kit and, NO!! it's not the horrible allen wrench that everyone hates, it was a very nice miniature screwdriver! The instructions were a hoot. No actual written instructions, everything was pictures. The first one had me scratching my head a little until I looked more closely. Make sure to look at the dotted arrows on the pictures to see which side of the piece or which hole it's pointing to. The holes matched up nicely and they were snug, so I have no fear of them loosening over time. The instruction picture has you leave the desk upside down to attach the top and the shelves; trust me, it really is easier this way; with the top, it's easier to line up the holes (make sure you line them all up before you start tightening all the screws). With the shelves, leaving the desk upside down makes for a clumsy install because you have to hold the shelf up, then screw in from the top (this is where a second person would be helpful until you get all 4 screws in) BUT...if you try to do it right-side-up, the bottom shelf is too low to the ground to get underneath to properly tighten the screws. You can put the shelves on the left or right simply by swapping the bar on the bottom of the desk on the long side to the other side. This desk certainly exceeded my expectations.

Assembly is Simple: Too Simple (4.5 Stars)
While the assembly itself was not overly difficult, the directions were not clear enough. If you are not very careful about which parts are facing which direction throughout the process, you'll have problems in the last steps. There are two small triangular metal braces that are supposed to be screwed directly into the back of the desk for support. This means that at the end of the process, you should have three visible holes on each side of the rear of the desk where the braces go. Unfortunately, since all the metal frames look the same, it was very easy to end up with those three holes mixed between both the front and back of the desk with no way to install the braces. It also might depend on which side you want your lower shelves to be on (right vs left); even in hindsight, I cannot see how it would be possible to attach the braces with the shelves oriented on the left side of the user (which is what I went with) since there is only one set of holes. You may have no problems with the holes if you orient your shelves to the right. That being said, I cannot see how the braces are needed unless you plan to dance on the desk. It is very sturdy without them and the solid metal frames make the desk heavy enough that there is zero wobble at all. So in the end, most (if not all) people will not even need the triangle braces, but I thought I would mention it here in case you see this before you build your own! Except for that one small glitch, this is a very good and sturdy desk. For the price, this was an exceptional value and I recommend it. The wood color looks good, and is a fairly smooth finish so writing is not a problem (you might need a 2nd piece of paper underneath if you have a very fine pen). It came very well-packaged with hard plastic corner pieces to protect the desk corners during shipment. There were a couple gouges in the box from rough handling and there was still no damage inside the container. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could, as the only problem was with the directions not clearly showing the hole orientation for the braces before building it.

Very Impressed
I am very impressed by the two new desks I ordered for my kids to use for school at home. They are sturdy, look nice, and were very easy to put together. The packaging was done well. The corners of the desks were very protected and had additional hard plastic pieces protecting just the corners. This was a nice surprise since I was worried about the corners from some of the reviews on here. I put together bookcases, desks, and such at our house and the instructions for this desk were well done. The instructions mainly use pictures, rather than wording. There were only two places I think they could improve the instructions to indicate the direction to place items, but the screw holes are only present in the correct direction so it was pretty easy to figure out. Screws were clearly packaged and labeled A, B, C, and D. Each package had one extra screw. They also supplied a screwdriver - what a nice surprise so I didn't have to go hunt down one in the house. Each part of wood or metal was also labeled which made assembly easy. Screws fit into pre-drilled holes well and everything lined up correctly. The top of the desk has the screw holes reinforced with plastic inserts so you are never screwing directly into the particle board. In fact, the wood is never exposed, the top and bottom of the desk and shelves are all covered with the "wood grain" laminate. I love that you can have the shelving on either the left or the right side. We have the desks next to each other and had to play around with the best sides for the shelving to be on in order to provide the most room for electrical plugs and seating. The only drawbacks are minimal. The desks arrived 2 days after they were originally supposed to. This normally wouldn't be a big deal but we were going out of town and I didn't want the neighbor to have to collect and store such large and heavy packages for us. We also found a little metal spur on one tiny part of one of the desks. My daughter went to pick up the desk to move it a little and cut her finger - not bad, no blood, but it hurt. I was able to file that down with a metal nail file so we'll never have to worry about that happening again. Like I said, only minor complaints.

Great for the price!
I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this desk. Some were helpful, and I came away with the impression that building the desk would be very difficult. It wasnโt too challenging actually, but I do have some tips. 1. The first thing that Iโd like to comment on is the packaging. It was the best packaged large item that Iโve seen. All of the corners were well protected with 4 layers of padding. I donโt see how any of the corners could be damaged in transit, if the carriers are moderately careful with it. Any defects would have to have occurred before shipping. I added a couple pictures of the corner padding. 2. Everything needed for assembly was included. Each package of screws had an extra. It came with a screwdriver and an Allen wrench. If youโre looking at purchasing this item, I recommend having your own screwdriver and Allen wrench, but it was not needed in my case. 3. The instructions are complicated, but understandable. Make sure to read ALL of the words before starting. Check to make sure no parts are missing before getting started. Refer back to the list of parts to make sure youโre always working with the correct parts on each page. With an extra measure of care and thoughtfulness in building it, you shouldnโt run into any issues. I did find it helpful to partially screw in all of the screws on a page of the instructions before committing to tightening. This helped me to ensure I had everything properly aligned, and it was especially helpful when attaching the legs to the desk. 3. The desk itself is sturdy, looks great, and is very functional. I like having the utility of the shelves (you donโt have to install both, if you want some room for taller items on the bottom shelf). Overall, Iโm very pleased with this purchase, and Iโll likely buy another piece of furniture if this brand again.

Unbelievable Design and Quality
I usually donโt write too many reviews on my purchases but this time I had to do a write-up as I was blown away by the great design, quality and looks of this desk. An excellent purchase and I could not be happier with this desk! Perfect width + depth size for me with lots of leg room. The top surface is water-resistant and should be easy to clean. All materials are top notch and assembly took 45+mins with clear instructions that even included both sets of tools needed. Each of the six screw sizes also came with extra screw. This desk is great for the money and looks fantastic in my bedroom. The wood is gorgeous and better than expected for this price. First of all, this desk came in a heavy carton that protected all wood surfaces including plastic covers on all 4 corners. There are quite a few pieces for you to play around but it is not very hard to figure out how to make all of those into one piece. Just make sure you follow the steps, one by one, and you will get there without any issues.

Great desk! Solid and looks good!
This desk got great reviews and I was dwelling on the negative ones. I took the chance and ordered the desk. Letโs just say Iโm very glad I did and I am very impressed. Some people claimed it was hard to put together, but if you look at the directions carefully they are super easy. Pictures are clear and show where the holes lined up. Took me 30 minutes while watching a movie. Others had concerns over busted corners. First thing I noticed is how well packed it was, they had corner protectors and lots styrofoam. Built this thing is solid! I canโt get over how good it is for the price.
