Excellent, Very Functional
It's aluminum but well-built. Slides and locks in with positive engagement and feels quality. I have no use for the gas tube pipe but luckily it's removable. Fit for purpose and recommended.

Awesome thinga majingy
First time working on my AR and i did my research on what i need an this was recommended. Long story short as a first timer i can say this for sure made things run smoothly for me . Worked as intended and had zero issues

Nice Tool!
I really wanted the Midwest Industries URR but this was less than half the price and it worked exactly as it should. At first I thought the locking feature was just a gimmick but it works well and I actually like it after using it. I’ve installed several barrels/muzzle devices with it and so far have had no issues. Maybe IF it ever breaks I’ll spend the money on the Midwest URR but honestly I’d likely just buy another Wheeler. YMMV.

Works well, great tool
Great tool for the casual amateur armorer. The sail is perfect for keeping proper alignment and strength under torque. The barrel locking feature isn't necessary but is nice for initial headspace measurement.Thr gas tube alignment piece is nice to have and it's nice that it is removable as well. It's aluminum so it probably won't hold up in a constant use professional environment but it does everything I need it to do.

Pretty good actually
My only complaint is the weird gas tube retention o-ring thingy... kinda weird. Feel like that could be thought out a little better. Other than that it helped crack off a rocksetted flash hider without any issues whatsoever. It feels a little flimsy at first, but she's solid once its in a vice. Its worth the price and defnitely better than shelling your receiver, barrel, etc. The peice of mind of knowing that I'm not jacking up my gun to undo a silly flash hider is worth the price alone. Glad I bought it.

Why did I struggle for so long before buying this?
I've thought about buying one of these for a long time. Every time I had to swap a flash hider. But I'd think, 'no - I'll just tough it out and wrestle the upper on a carpeted floor under my foot. Finally pulled the trigger (pun intended) and am kicking myself for not getting this sooner. There are a bunch of cheaper ones out there, but I have some other Wheeler stuff and really like the quality and durability of their products.Made swapping a flash hider to a new ASR compatible one so much easier! Nice locking feature, just slide into the locking lugs of the barrel and turn the dial. It locks the action rod to the barrel. Very stable and secure on my upper. Unlocking is just as easy.Just wish I hadn't been a cheap idiot and added one of these to my tool collection sooner.

Why didn't I get one sooner??
This worked fantastic. Wish I had gotten one years ago. Makes working on your uppers so much easier. Works as intended. Simple to use. Would absolutely buy again and recommend.

Worth the cost
Had put off getting this because of the price but great quality, will last, and can do the job right.
