Terry Gou Brought Great Adapter to the World
Got this for my development setup and it's really good. I bought a used one for 40% off, and the condition was just like new. It works well for bridging my MacBook's internet connection with my Raspberry Pi on my school's wifi.

Solid, compact, and fast
Works well on my 2015 retina Macbook running macOS 10.11.5 El Capitan. One of the few currently available that is small and compact with a true USB 3.1 chipset. Pros: • True 3.1 chipset supporting Gigabit Ethernet+ speeds • Utilizes Apple's native driver for the Realtek chipset so no need to install or maintain a 3rd party driver on macOS • Small and compact (smallest Gigabit adaptor I could find) • Well designed material Cons: • Takes 20+ seconds to power up and be connected (a common issue these days for 3rd party USB adaptors utilizing Realtek chipsets + Apple's native driver, based on my testing various USB adaptors from numerous vendors)

Saved my bacon at a large group meeting
I have a MacBook which doesn’t have an Ethernet/RJ45 port. I had a Zoom meeting in a room where WiFi is virtually nonexistent but it had Ethernet access. This adapter was the solution and it worked flawlessly.

Easy install. Great speed!
My laptop does not have an ethernet port so I had tried a couple of other usb gigabit adapters with very disappointing results. My ethernet speeds were actually slower than my WIFI. I tried drivers, adapter settings, cables, router ports etc to no avail. My other connected devices easily reached over 200mbps, but not my laptop. Decided to try once more and this one did the trick. Put it in and immediately got well over 200mbps.

You can't really go wrong with Belkin. All their products that I've used are great. This plugged in straight to my lightweight ethernet-lackong laptop, since I needed a cable connection instead of WiFi for game streaming with Nvidia Geforce Now. It installed and worked automatically on Windows 10. This is one of the adapters recommended by Nvidia. I can definitely recommend it. Saw great performance increase and connection stability, compared to even 5Ghz WiFi (laptop was next to router).

Works beautifully, runs cool for whole day computing. Product quality and build on par with anything Apple, but at a much reasonable price point. Stable and no issues thus far.
