Drunken Sailor Brand Beard Balm (Virgin Waters Unscented) 2oz

Quality product with very little scent, which is what I was looking for. There is a slight wax/oil smell when first applying, but it rapidly dissipates, usually within a minute. Product absorbs nicely and my beard comb glides very smoothly through the strands. I don't have a full beard but my goatee is grown in very thick and long, and this product works very well at smoothing and conditioning.It is a very hard product. The directions say to rub your thumb into it to warm it up and make it pliable, but I find that doesn't really work. I tend to rub my thumb in circles and then end up digging out a dime-sized chunk with the back of my thumbnail. Rubbing that in between my fingers makes is pliable and easily applied to my beard.I recommend this product for anyone who wants to condition, style, and maintain his beard without any heavy aromas. I should add, the balm washes pretty well off your hands when done, and doesn't leave you smelling like it after.

too waxy, hard to soften it up

Buy this product. Your beard will thank you. Mine thanks me every day. As to whether this balm is responsible for my beard gaining sentience and the ability to speak, I cannot say.
