Nice to have it
I'm no expert on tank thermometers, but this one works well and I'm surprised how much we rely on it. Much better than our old one!

Decent product.
Decent quality. I wish the cord was different length options! I double tested the temperature precision using laser gun pointer and so far these thermometers are correct.

Not Accurate...
So far I'm not impressed, going to get a fresh battery and see if that helps... But, anyway out of the box it's reading about 7°F too low, this is being calibrated against four other known to be good analog and digital thermometers in the same cup of water... Example it reads 93°F when the temp is actually 100°F...
