Back Plate (for GLK models 17-35)

I installed this product onto my everyday concealed carry Glock 19 and am very pleased with the results. I have done a considerable amount of testing with the product and it truly does help me with my response time if faced with a threat and I need to chamber a round. In a high stress situation, this product is exactly what you need to get you into the fight quickly and safely. Another thing I loved is that the product fits perfectly into my holsters and I do not even notice it is there. Some people worry about the product causing discomfort to your back, but I have a very slim alien gear holster and the gun is still comfortable to sit with all day.

Excellent product I have a weaker grip on my left hand due to neck surgeries and had a hard time racking this Glock.This actually gave me something more to grab. It fits well and looks good. Kinda expensive for a little piece, but worth it.

Width is fine to give a place to grip the back of the slide. Seems plenty strong as well. The only thing Id change would be to maybe round off the front corners on the sides, it does bite into fingertips a bit, especially with a stiffer recoil spring in the gun (I've got a G17 with a 20lb spring).Definitely a nice addition for a pistol with a reflex sight which can make gripping the slide while staying clear of the optics a little awkward. A wider plate would possibly overhang most holsters, none of these is likely to be impractical for anyone using an IWB holster or looking to varry concealed.

I purchased this for my training classes as some people have a lot of trouble racking the slide. I found it awkward and ineffective. Standard clearing drills can turn painful with this on the slide. It works for a slingshot style hold but even then its not pleasant to release. Perhaps with additional training/practice it would catch on but I think I am better off sticking to the basic methods of manipulation than using a device.

I picked this up to allow the wife to better work the slide, I have found that I actually like it and consider it an improvement over the standard slick glock slide...Is it needed? No. But its so unobtrusive yet provides greater grip that I think its a smart addition at the moment. It needs several months of use and many rounds to really give it my approval, but I'm liking it right now a great deal. And it did help the wifes issue with racking the slide which was its primary objective when I bought it.

Pretty easy to install. Practical and effective in use. Way better than those lame custom pictures or bible verses

Trust that your hard earned money is worth spending on this! Not cheap at all,solid metal and is strong. Looks and works flawlessly! Oh and the fit was perfect.
