Skeptic to Believer
I have gone from skeptic to believer. I used to use the L'Oreal pre-moistened towelettes, which never removed my mascara and eyeliner well without multiple passes and too much tugging. I then added eye makeup remover to the regimen to get the eye make up off more gently. By the time I had done these two steps, my face felt like it had a film of cleaning product on it. Most nights, I was too lazy to go the extra step of actually washing with cleanser and water. I was about to buy eye makeup remover when I saw the "original" make up eraser. I was too skeptical to pay that price, but decided I would try this less-expensive version and, at the very least, have two additional wash cloths if they didn't work. I am now a total convert and may never use wipes or makeup remover again. Not only does it get my eye makeup off without too much tugging, my whole face feels clean and refreshed after washing up with just this towel and water. No other products. And all in the same amount of time it took me to do my old steps 1 and 2. I keep one by the sink for washing off the makeup at night. I keep the other one in the shower for washing my face in the morning. I do add a cleanser to that step. The one by the sink looks dirty at the end of the week from all the makeup removed, but it comes out pretty clean in the washing machine. I've also recently traveled with one. SO much easier than traveling with the makeup removers. Do yourself a favor and try it. My face feels so much cleaner at night.

Remove my makeup without cleanser
When I purchased my first set of two ELUME makeup remover cloths, I was skeptical. I figured if they didn't remove the makeup as advertised, I could use facial cleanser and still use the cloths. The first time I used the cloth with just water, I was amazed at how effectively it cleaned my face. The next evening, I called my husband into the bathroom, and basically said, "Watch this!" I proceeded to thoroughly wet the cloth with warm water, and then wiped my face. He stood there watching in disbelief as the cloth removed all the makeup - including waterproof mascara. I have since bought two more sets, so I now have a total of six cloths so I can wait to wash them when I do a load of towels. My only complaint is that when I wash them in the washer, the dark mascara never completely washes out, and the cloths are left with dark smudges. When I only had two cloths, I used to wash them by hand with liquid hand soap (diluted Dr. Bronner's), and then the mascara washed out completely. I may go back to hand washing just so they look cleaner. I am a happy customer, and would recommend this product.

Effective, and more sustainable than disposable wipes! Perfect for all skin types.
First things first, I'm writing this review now as I reorder these for the second time. THESE ARE AMAZING. I bought the ELUME face cloths for the first time on a whim because I didn't feel like purchasing a pack of pricey "organic" wipes just to use them once and throw them out, needing a new pack within a few days. Well I must say I was more than impressed. I use microfiber cloths to clean things around the house but these are soo much softer and feel great on my skin. At the time I was experiencing drier, sensitive skin with a few breakouts, and these cloths were soft and didn't irritate my skin at all. I got so hooked on them that I went to buy more, but ended up trying a knockoff brand of five black ones...they were horrible :( The black dye bled nonstop and they were nowhere near as soft and effective as the pink ELUME ones I'd purchased. These are certainly reusable, just rinse the makeup out with mild soap after cleansing and hang them to dry. They really do remove it all. After time I lost one while traveling and the other one is pretty dinky as the pink is faded and stained from certain makeup. But it still works like a dream, and I'm excited to have two new ones to replace the awful black knockoffs I tried!

Fantastic
This stuff is fantastic. I was a little skeptical at first after years of using make up wipes. Recently I was using a new brand of make up wipes and found my face started to break out, become super dry in some areas, and I had left over make up when I woke up in the morning. After using this pad for a few days after I get home from work, I am AMAZED. Not only does it take off all my make up, but if you're using just warm water, it opens your pores and helps keep them nice and clean (with a cleanser after). What I was most concerned about was the fact that I'd have a dirty makeup rag sitting there until my next load of laundry... well, that concern went right away after I ran the rag under warm water. About 95% of the make up just came right off. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! I will totally be buying this product again when I need to, but for the holidays and upcoming gifts for my girls, I will TOTALLY repurchase the ELUME Makeup Remover.

WOW! REALLY removes all your makeup with just water!
This really works!! I am a skeptic when it comes to products claiming it works and then you end up wasting your money. But, I read the reviews and thought to try it (since I thought if it doesn't work, it is cost of Starbucks)! I am one of those few women who does not like wearing make-up and especially taking it off! Especially mascara and eye-liner, since everytime I use any make-up remover or wipe, it never completely removes my eye make-up and I end up rubbing my eyes several times, which irritates me. I was afraid that the fabric would be abrasive to my eyelid, but it is completely soft. I was really SHOCKED how well it worked with JUST water! I haven't tried using a cleanser or make-up remover with it, but you don't need to, that's the point! Saves money from buying make-up remover and safer for the environment. I just rinse it with soap water after every use and hang dry it. Great investment!
