Very powerful aeration with a Hailea HAP120 aerator. The only design flaw is that its to lightweight and will float in water. It has to be tied down with quite a bit of weight. I had to pack 3.5Kgs of sand in a plastic bag, inside the body to keep it submerged. The 4 cylindrical extensions inside did not help. You can pack a lot more sand without the unnecessary plastic bits. No screws to close the lid after loading the weight. They just give 4 cable ties. Also, some of the AirOxi tubes were clogged and did not produce uniform bubbles.

It sure does work. Though the way the spider is fitted to the base could be improved. The one extra tube given along with the item is a nice gesture.

Two end plug is missing in my package. I have to buy a new one for the missing sides.

The media could not be loaded. Very good quality item.

Major flaw in design is the bottom cap has no thread or locking mechanism.When you add weight like a stone to help the spider sink the bottom cap opens just due to the weight of the stone. .There are no holes or groves to tie it either.I drilled few holes to lock it with a zip tie. This should be done buy manufacturer itself.

Old stock tubes are sold by the supplier. Quality absolutely harassing. Within 5 days of use the tubes started to leak air when detected big bubbles coming up.
