I am familiar with the zoom groom, and I actually searched for a zoom groom and this came up. Same idea, but it's a big pink dog and I thought the cats would appreciate a dog having to groom them. Anyway it does seem a little stiff, maybe it will soften off after a while but it does the job, it removes hair that would otherwise be in my dinner. It is a little on the large size but it's not a problem for me. I recommend it, but maybe next time I'll get one specified for cats.

I bought two of these. One to keep upstairs and one for down. We adopted a German Shepard/ Hound mix the 1st weekend in December. I have had only non-shedding or short haired dogs before. I was not prepared for the fur storm that my house would become.This tool was recommended to me by my dog's foster mom and I am so glad she did. I brush my fur baby with this daily. She loves it. It is effective in removing excess fur and she seems to like it much better than the slicker brush I was using.I would definitely recommend these foe brushing and shampooing your furry friends. Five stars for sure!

I been using furminator for over a year and I can tell my cats hated when I combed them so I started to look for alternatives and I saw this one. The cats now whenever they see me coming with this bright pink comb they come running! They loved it and it get so much hair off them even on their tail. Love it

The material is super soft and flexible, it’s great to use on dogs with sensitive skin or short hair. It’s a little big for my feminine hands and isn’t the easiest to hold since it’s also flexible. Wouldn’t return it for said reasons but it can be annoying at times.

This is a great massage type brush for dogs! Worked to loosen and pull hair away while I was bathing my pup.

Love this simple little brush! I use it on both my dogs and cats. My lab has arthritis in his hips and is frequently uncomfortable. This is soft and easy on him. He wags his tale instead of cringing like he used to do when I would get out the brush.

I would try it out... I have two cats, one liked it, the other didn’t....Split decision
