I had these pads ordered for the mobile bike repair service to update my bike.The technician found them easy to fit and was complimentary on their thickness.I have been riding the bike with them for over a month, the braking power is perfect and it has not lowered over time. They worked fine in all weather conditions and I have not noticed excessive noise.Really pleased with them, can recommend.

Pros:- feel very well built with a nice painted finish- ample braking surface. When fitting the pistons had to be pushed right back for the pads/rotor to fit.- fit a range of brake systems (mine were fitted to avid 3 brakes- the metal clip fits the pads well and gives good spring to push pistons back into the brake calliper.Cons:- the red paint has been painted on the sides of the brake surface. I can't see it affecting the braking performance but thought I'd mention it.- nit-picking here, but a range of colours would be nice.- are quite expensive (£21.95 for one set/wheel at the time of the review)- I didn't weigh them but they were much heavier than stock pads. Could therefore do with a weight saving design (cheese holes for eg)I hope you find this review helpful.

These pads were fitted to elixir brakes.Following breaking in, the pads offer good modulated grab on the disks but not snatchy.They have been quiet in wet and muddy conditions.Following hosing down the bike the pads do not appear to swell at all.Following some hard riding the pads are showing little overall wear compared to previous pad materials. We will update if anything changes here.A reliable, well balanced pad.

Just getting my bikes ready after the winter break, fitted these nice and easy, seem comparable quality to other brake pads I’ve used before, I’ll see how they fair in the wet but so far so good.

Quick and easy to fit, and are compatible as described. Braking is smooth and effective, on all terrains and in all weathers it's been tested in.

Good quality brake pads and ideal for mountain bikes. Good stopping power, even in the rain or mud. Would highly recommend.

Its hard to know where the line is with budget pads, how cheap is too cheap and how much is too much? My last pads were half this price and worked great. These pads are double the price, do they work doubly well? No, I dont think so.For the price I was surprised to see some overspray/paint marks on the sides of the pad material - I pad this price should have quality and QC at it's forefront.The pads work great, they are really well balanced from the perspective of dry conditions, wet conditions, modulation and grabbiness.They dont squeel, which is good.Overall, good pads, but worth the money? Im unsure!
