Gripper Mats™ - Magnet Sign Grippers for Aluminum Vehicles: Trucks, Cab, RV, Trailer

My sign is 12"x18" so I looked at the table and throught ok, one pack. Maybe I should have read into it further, my fault, but I was sidetracked. I received two pads in one pack and now I see what they are saying. You only need 50% coverage so one pack covers about 50% of a 12x18 pad. Not what I really thought, expected or wanted. I wanted to really buy one (1) pad that was 12x18 for my 12x18 pad. This is not what you get to read carefully. I have yet to test it, but I'm still a bit annoyed.

Hasn’t worked exactly the way it was recommended that it would put the signs on reusable they did not tell you need to wash them almost daily because they won’t attach or stay sticking unless you do

We used the grippers to attach a magnetic sign to a pickup truck. The grippers work just as they should. They are easy to apply and have held for several weeks now. Two things that are issues: 1) since the grippers are thick, the sign doesn’t lay as flat against the truck door as I would like; and 2) the suggested layout for the grippers on the back of the sign isn’t appropriate. Since the sign is being attached to a vehicle, the signs take on much wind. The grippers should be placed around the edges for full coverage. We followed the layout and after just 1-2 days, the corners of the signs were bent. I added some grippers to those corners and it has held great since then.

Had this product for 2 months now. Followed instructions exactly. Wiped with wet cloth when they lost their stickiness. 2 months in and they are no longer sticky. Even when wiped clean, they hold on for about an hour while parked in driveway and then fall off.I would avoid these. Good option for short term, but fail after about two months

Unfortunately, the adhesive was not strong enough to support a business door magnet for more than 48 hours. It lifted and I lost my magnet.....and the $30 for the Gripper Mats.

Two things. First, the seller's information does not include the product dimensions. However, you can ask the seller that question and get this answer: 10.43 x 8.07 inches per pad. The reality is not even close to that, about 30% smaller on length and width. I purchased these pads based on the information they provided. There are two pads in a package. Based on the dimensions from the seller I had planned on using one pad for each of my 2 signs, but I had to use two pads for one sign. Based on reviews I read, I wanted the pad to cover the entire back of the sign so wind would not get beneath and tear the sign off. Second, it didn't matter. On my 2 hour road trip, traveling at 65 MPH, my sign started coming off the pad and whipping in the wind, destroying my sign. I had mentioned that I had to use two pads for my one sign. One pad portion was missing completely at the end of the trip, the other pad portion was still attached with half of my sign torn away. Not worth the money at all.

First rain gone! if they get wet at all all stickiness is gone wouldn’t buy again

This product works exactly as marketed! Easy to use and works like a charm!
