Razor Knife Holder/Handle
The handle that the blade goes in is awesome. However, for what I need the blades for didn't work for me. I use the blades for etching designs on dyed eggs. My fingers hold the handle way down on the handle like you would a pencil. The blade is sharp all the way down to the handle, so I can't hold the blade like I want to without getting cut. The blade, yes, is very sharp and can be used for cutting out things that is not intricate work. If you want to cut something where your hand can be way up on the handle, then the blade would be perfect. But, I would have to wrap tape around and around the blade that is nearest the knife handle just so I wouldn't cut myself, just to use the point on the projects I do.

... for years because they are so well made and easy to use
I have been using Xacto knives for years because they are so well made and easy to use. I like this one especially because the protective caps stays on it so well. This one is also very easy to handle.

Now this is a knife!
It's a small, very sharp knife- if you know what an Xacto knife is you know what it can do! I use this for cutting my African Violets to start new plants- its small enough to get into the plan without damage to the leaves and make a quick painless cut of the stem close to the trunk-they also have many other uses just as there are many ways to prepare shrimp! highly recommended in every kitchen junk drawer- but please keep away from children!

It’s an X-Acto knife what else can you say.
It’s a good knife can’t really go wrong with it. X-ActoKnifes have pretty standard blade replacements so it’s easy to find the replacement blades.

One-Of_A-Kind tool for a MYRIAD of projects and needs
I have owned X-acto knives my entire life. I use them for MORE than just hobby. I build custom furniture. Primarily computer desks and audio video centers. Custom made for the recipients to THEIR specifications and requirements for THEIR equipment. The X-acto knife comes into play during construction during the finishing process (poly coating and trim paints) as well as electrical infusion to insure there are enough outlets for all your equipment. I find this considerably more handy than a single edged razor blade HOWEVER those come in handy as well depending on the job. Bought tons of extra blades and everything was at my door in 2 days. Blade occasionally gets loose but one twist and you're good to go
Blade occasionally gets loose but one twist and you're good to go. The safety cap is difficult to put on/remove at first but gets easier as you break it in. Very sharp.

Versatile and useful
I use this all the time on just about anything that needs to be cut. The replacements blades are cheap and the construction is very solid. A+ Product!
