Depends on what your expectations.. $25 for a zipper failing is not my cup of tea though.
I used this backpack all over Japan for 2 1/2 weeks, and I really have to say that I don't see much of a point in a backpack that folds up small for normal travel.I ended up using this daily, but it was less comfortable than a bulkier backpack (though the chest strap is very nice in helping with the comfort) and each time I ran to a location the material the straps were made from chaffed very badly on my neck and skin. I never really once folded this up into an itty bitty size like I thought I would need to do frequently.. I always needed the space inside more, and unpacking and re-packing a day pack proved to be more troublesome from location to location than simply carrying the bag around separately. The fact it comes with a cheap little carabiner was very nice, and the three pockets are also very nice. It fit well, and carried a surprising amount as well, but for the price there are $5-6 small backpacks that will do similar things. A real major downside is that the large zippered pocket does not have two zippers... You can only access it from the one side where it closes up, and this made it difficult to pack it up to its fullest capacity while also having access to my stuff. What made me return this bag was the fact that the very front, small zipper pocket (which I liked because I could carry my important items there) failed. The edge of it flared open and the zipper is capable of running right off of its own tracks. The finishes for this are cheap, meaning they didn't bother to complete the zipper to the point where the zipper will stop itself before jamming itself in a way that's irreplaceable into the edge of it. The fabric is the only thing stopping the zipper, so when the edge pulled out I simply had to leave the pocket unzipped and move everything in it to my pockets the rest of the trip.It does fold down very small, and it was more comfortable looking than my boyfriend's $5 walmart version of this. It held a fair amount of stuff for its size, and while it wasn't water resistant or anything it held its own against light rain. However, the fact it folded small didn't actually prove all that useful for vacationing which is what I planned on doing with it, the straps were still uncomfortable for all day wear even with an ultralight weight.. once you put stuff in it the fabric was like sandpaper on one's skin, I couldn't wear any of my tank tops on my trip with this thing on. Also, for me, I'm returning it for the zipper failing within the first 3 weeks of owning it... for the price of $25, this thing should at least have some higher quality functionality on it with some attention to detail on the zippers themselves which is arguably the most important part of the backpack. I treated this backpack as basically a souvenir bag, it didn't go through any crazy rough adventures or hikes or anything like that. Light treatment and city use and the zipper still failed.I rated it as okay because it did serve a function while on my vacation, and I did use it... but I could have easily used literally any other of my backpacks that were bulkier but still packed fairly flat being made of soft cloth material and been just as comfortable with more accessibility. The fact it folds up so small I thought would be suuuper useful and it turns out... not really at all for my purposes. I say, for the price, this probably is not worth it but if you're into paying $25 for a lightweight backpack even with comparable ones on the market even lighter for a much cheaper price you could pick worse. It was alright in the end, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Two trips to Europe and counting!
I love this backpack! I went to Iceland and Italy this year, and the bag was amazing in what it was capable of holding. At one point in Italy, where you constantly have to buy bottled water, I had in the bag: four 16 oz water bottles, my large wallet, a large cotton scarf, my passport, a guidebook, bottles of sunscreen and regular lotion, four granola bars, postcards, souvenirs from a museum, candy, pens and writing paper (just in case), a flashlight, sunglasses, and maps. It held all that, had some room for more small items, and didn't weigh a ton. After I got home from the trip, I took everything out of it and folded it back into a small square again (approx. the size of a CD case, but 1" thick). I recommend it to any and all travelers.

Lightweight For Sure
This is the third item I have received from Ody Travel Gear, and it is a nifty little backpack. It is very light weight, so care must be taken not to over pack it, particularly with heavier, more valuable cameras or tablets. It is perfect for carrying smaller unbreakable containers and light clothing. But lightweight is it's name, and lightweight is it's game. For that, I give it four stars.

Main zipper needs to be 2 way (2 zippers)
I recently took this on a trip to San Francisco. It came in handy. The main part is large enough to hold a jacket umbrella and large water container. The smaller pockets hold headphones, extra phone battery, etc. My only complaint is that the main zipper is not a 2 way zipper. Be very careful to make sure the zipper is closed completely. You could easily lose some of your belongings.

perfect christmas present for males
This is so convenient. It is nice looking in person and one of those things that everybody could use, even if they already have backpacks. Do they have one that fits in a pocket? Great for traveling, hiking, etc. Folds out to full sized light weight backpack. Love it.

Easy to fold up into a small
Purchased this for teenage son to take on international trip to use for short hikes and outings. Needed something that wouldn't take up much space in the suitcase. Product fit the bill and has held up thus far. Easy to fold up into a small, compact size.
