I make a polyphenol tea to help with sleep recovery. Adding two tsp of this helps a lot, I wake up feeling noticeably better. The flavor of the tea is enhanced.

This is the only oral plant humectant that I take now. (Actually, I just started experimenting with powdered Coconut Milk and powdered Sunflower Lecithin this week. But I've been using exclusively Sea Buckthorn in my routine for the past 9+ months now for comparison.) Generally, the principle is that you want to eat something gooey to become gooey. Water alone is not enough to hydrate, you need other stuff in your diet also to make the moisture effective. Strangely, these gooey plants can't reconstitute into a gel after the extract process. Despite this, the ingredients still seem to be effective at lubrication. My skin is perfectly moisturized without a topical moisturizer, and if I accidentally strip the moisture from my skin with my skincare routine, my skin can rehydrate within 10 hours of having its moisture stripped.

Contains unspecified amount of Maltodextrin, used as a filler, a highly refined powder derived from plant starches, most commonly corn, rice, potato, or wheat. It was not bitter, so this is a problem- it should be bitter/tangy. The package does state that the serving size is 5g, and each serving contains 5g of seabuckthorn “powder”, so this filler is either negligible (then how does it fill?), or the product information is misleading. Either way, because it’s not organic, there is no way to know how much pesticide or glyphosate is in the filler, because there is no way to know how much filler makes this a “powder”. I regret this purchase because the company was not diligent in disclosing its use of a filler in this listing, nor does the package state what percent is just filler.

I ordered it but didn't receive it. Amazon said it was picked up, but I didn't get it. I gave 5 stars because the product is good, but unfortunately, someone stole it

This is a good herb, and tastes great!! Based on the benefits of the herb, it supports the immune system in my opinion. Highly recommend!!

The time between ordering and receiving was outstanding, and the product really works. It's pleasant tasting and easy to prepare.

Not satisfying for me

In fine print on the back, it says it contains maltodextrin. Had to throw it out because I can't have that. Not happy. Not only that, it does not say what percentage is buckthorn and what percentage is maltodextrin. Not good.

The powder is definitely not sea buckthorn Money waste
