Too small
I felt tricked after opening the package when it arrived. I wanted large (king size) ice balls, I have a different ice ball mold set that is much larger but it only makes 2 at a time. They deviously illustrate these balls to be larger with all of the pictures. First off, these are sold by "American Product Supplies" but they show a picture with measurements in CENTIMETERS, I didn't realize it was centimeters when i ordered. Then there are pictures of the ice balls in glasses and the ice ball fills up the glass nicely, these must be tiny glasses any normal whisky glass is much larger. The ice balls will actually measure about 2 inches in diameter. The ice mold I prefer is 2 1/2 inches in diameter and an extra half inch makes a surprisingly big difference.

It is a pass!!!
Really hard to fill. make sure you have a nice funnel or a cone cup with the bottom cut out. It leakes every time I have used it. I have other BIG ball ones that do not leak but these do. The BIG square ones are really good so stick with them!!!!

Must have for any drink
It works amazingly in my scotch on a hot day that I just don't feel like fussing with them half ass soap stones... just don't baby your scotch and it won't get too watered down. Not to mention a little bit of H20 enhances you fine liquidator. I use filtered water (chlorine and florid in my scotch... YUCK), and make bunch of them and put them in the freezer in a brown paper bag. Works great!
