It is difficult to say this is a bad purchase, it was not!! It just was not for me and after one use the dial was stuck at 300F, I then replaced it with the old original weber thermometer. It was a low cost purchase and to be honest it was what I should have expected.

Every time I use the BBQ the inside of the thermometer fills with condensation, which makes it almost impossible to read. Not a great product.
