Comfort, Contour, Good Looks, Good Price
Superb saddle! The foam padding makes it much more comfortable than the gel saddle I previously used, which cost 5 times as much. For my road bike, the MTB model of the Velmia makes it much easier to maintain a comfortable riding position than did the broader, thickly padded saddle of another brand that I tried recently. And the MTB Velmia just looks classier. I use my bike both outdoors (daily) and in a training stand (3x/week), and this saddle I consider the perfect combination of contour and comfort.

Buy this saddle right now
I have just put my 500th mile in this saddle, so I thought it was time to write a review. I ride a Trek mountain bike, and I ride off road and also paved and gravel trails. For the first 2500 miles or so on my bike, I rode the saddle it came with. Eventually I couldn't take the discomfort any more. Then I got this baby! Overall, I could not be happier. Prior to having this, the pain limit on my arse was about 20 miles. Now I do 60 without noticing it. I will mention a couple things that I experienced, that you might too. First, I felt like I was a bit more forward in the saddle, in spite of adjusting the saddle to be as far back on the rails as possible. Second, I had to adjust the seat post height, since this saddle is quite a bit thicker (taller) that the piece of concrete I used to sit on. Third, possibly due to the slight geometry change, I had a bit of inner thigh pain - maybe due to previously lesser-used muscles being used more. All 3 were minor: I got used to the feeling of being more forward after only a few rides, and the leg pain disappeared quickly. Honestly, this saddle completely changed not only my rides, but my riding. I HIGHLY recommend this saddle.

Not that soft, but comfortable.
Not as soft as I had hoped, but definitely acceptable. My new ebike came with this ridiculous, over the top squishy, slippery, too wide and TOO HOT saddle. Seriously. It looked like they had attached a tiny couch to my new bike. Ugh. I replaced that awful thing with this. It’s not exactly hard, but there’s not a lot of give. That said, I find it comfortable. And the cut out in the middle of the saddle is something I’m used to. Does it supply air flow and protect my privates from pressure? I guess. Maybe. I do know my crotch doesn’t get as hot as it did with the mini couch. Or one of those gel saddle covers. Those things are terrible. I found the install easy. I took off one star because the saddle could be softer in the sit bones area. I think the build quality is good and the saddle will last a long time.

Just Get The Saddle
I thought I should provide a review after the seat proved to be so superb but lost track of time so, after about 4 years of use, here's my review. JUST GET THE SADDLE. Yep, the fabric on the nose is sticky and my bike shorts stuck to it though that diminishes with use. So what! It's only an issue, which its never been for me, when getting on or off and never while riding. It is critical to have the saddle adjusted so your 'sit' bones are well positioned and there are lots of youtube videos about that issue. After that just go ride. It'll take, maybe 5 minutes, to find the saddle works, is very comfortable and you can get back to enjoying the ride. FWIW, I worked up to 30 mile rides with no saddle problems at all. Enjoy the ride!

4.5 stars, perfect doesn't exist
I bought my bike to get back in some kind of shape after being bedridden for over 3 years. I'm disabled and over 60, so regaining some physical health won't be easy. I've lost a lot of weight, including upon that part of me I sit on, so even with the gel pad I put on the stock seat, it was still too uncomfortable to sit on for long. Not with this seat, it's wide enough, well thought out, well contoured and not too soft to offer good support and still be comfortable enough that I can ride my bike for more than 20 minutes without discomfort. Although I haven't yet had a chance to use it as much as I want, it seems well made and should last, I'm very happy with this purchase and on top of it all, it is reasonably priced. Thanks for this, it really has made a difference and I look forward to using it daily for quite some time to come.

heavy foam saddle, decent construction but wasn't for me
I've been slowly getting back into cycling because of quarantine. I recently fixed up a casual road bike that needed a new saddle. The old one lacked support and was too narrow. I decided to try the Velmia because of the price, and it was wider. Rode around for a couple miles to test it out. It did feel better than my previous saddle, but I could still feel pressure directly on my sit bones. I had another saddle to try, and tested that one right after. The other saddle felt way better, it has a "soft-shell". I then discovered the issue might have been the way the Velmia saddle is constructed. The two contact points of the rail are directly in the middle of the seat. You can see this clearly from the product photos. Even though there is memory foam, my 200 lbs can still feel the pressure from the plastic rail mounts. The surface material of the cover is also quite rough. It's definitely waterproof, and allows for a lot of grip, but it might be harder to switch riding positions. I also don't think the cover would last very long, it seems to be made of a vinyl/plastic, similar to a beach ball. TL;DR - great saddle for most casual riders, but for my needs, it just wasn't for me.

Siodełko zakupiłem do roweru trekkingowego.

Used this on my folding electric bike, the factory seat was incredibly uncomfortable. This one can't solve all the problems of a smaller bike, but it does a great deal to enhance the comfort when riding around.
