Kingshark Gamer mSATA 512GB Internal Solid State Drive High Performance Hard Drive for Desktop Laptop SATA III 6Gb/s Includes SSD (512GB, mSATA)

My Computer would not recognize this hard drive, I tried everything I could think of evening going into hard drive management, it did show up in devices, ie Printer , Bluetooth items. I tried it in three different computer's , it would have been nice to have some instructions come with it, I finally got the computer to recognize it is a hard drive.

I have a Dell Vostro 3460 with a msata slot. So i installed the 128gb in the msata slot and booted to BIOS. The BIOS recognized the drive. Got to windows and it did not show up either in File Manager or Disk Manager. I scratched my head for a bit and then tried DISKPART. It was there. I CLEAN the msata drive and formatted the msata drive. Rebooted back to windows. Still no Joy. When back to DISKPART. This time I turned on AUTOMOUNT for the msata drive. Powered down. I disconnected the HHD and booted from a Windows 21H1 install USB, Build the System, Booted into the new image on the msata drive.All was great. I the reinstalled the HHD and reformatted it. The msata drive is now the boot drive and the HHD is for data.As an aside, when the HHD was not installed Windows showed battery time of just under 4 hr.

I have an older Alienware 14 laptop and was getting really frustrated at how slow it was operating, so I decided to upgrade the Hard Drive to an mSATA drive in hopes of speeding the system up, even a little. After the incredibly easy installation of the SSD, I installed Windows on the new drive in record time! My laptop now boots up almost as fast as my new PC and the response time when opening programs is incredible compared to before. This was a major upgrade to the computer for only a little money. I recommend this SSD as a low-cost upgrade, any day.

Used this in a mini PC that's running my test PBX. Runs excellent. Not going to lie, I was a little standoffish because I had never heard of the brand before, but I've been running it for quite a while now with absolutely zero issues. Would definitely buy again.

This worked perfect to recover an older drive (mSATA). Not software needed. Plug and play and got my issue resolved. Well worth the purchase. Now if I can just find a case.

I installed this in my Beelink T34. Upgraded From 128 GB to 500 GB. So far so good.

I like that it was value for money. I bought it for my daughter’s laptop who is doing online school. It is working perfectly fine. Wonderful.
