I bought this set primarily for the little flower type magnet as I have the other types, I got this one as , for the money, it seemed better value when you get the other bits with it. Most of the ones here on amazon look identical, they are either pink or this gold yellow colour in the pictures. The pink ones seem to get the worse reviews so I plumped for this little set.It all seems of a decent quality but when I tried the magnet out on some new cat's eye polish I got, to be honest the effect wasn't that great. Maybe that's down to the polish or my expectations being too high I'm not sure as never used one before.However I have found that the double end brush and dotter has been really useful. I love the brush for neatening lines on french tips if I go a bit wonky, it does that perfectly. I bought a set of brushes and not one of them works as well and seems as good as this one so that at least is a win

The two oblong sticks with the large dot on the end work fine. But the longer three don't work. I asked a few friends to try them. They say the same.
