Delicious! But, here is a hack I thought you would enjoy. The gnocchi starch thickens up any sauce. Add them directly to the sauce.Ad Hoc Amazon Amazin Lamb Chops - Were delicious!!Start with rendered pork fat or use olive oil if you are not lucky to have this white gold on hand.Sear lamb chops on both sides. Be careful of your smoke point based on your oil. Sear on the highest heat without smoking.Add - Canned tomatoesCanned artichokes with waterRed WineSea SaltSegments of a tangerine + Zest the rind if organic.Bring to a soft boil.Add uncooked gnocchi right out of the packageBring back to boil then lower heat and cover.The starch from the gnocchi along with the broth and liquids make a lovely sauce.Will be ready in 15-20 mins but simmer on low for as long as you can stand to wait to make the lamb more tender.Serve in a bowl with shaved Parmesan.Yum!I also enjoy them cooked per package directions then toss in some butter, pesto (from the local pizza shop) and shaved parm.A handy, quick and satisfying meal.

I have used several of Don Brunos products in the past and this one lives up to my expectations. They are fresh and tasty and so good in most Italian dishes as well as soups.

This review is mostly about the item listing and changes made to it that were allowed without canceling subscribe and save orders.I added this item to my family's subscribe and save when it was 1 package of qty 6 @ $15. Thats a pretty good value and at that price point this was a pretty good gnochi.A couple of months ago my subscribe and save order arrived but it was only 1 package of 1 unit. I looked at the product listing and the title had been changed but the product details still said qty 6 and 3 lbs. So I did a return less refund because whatever, mistakes happen, I thought.My order arrived again today 1 package of 1 unit but this time the item was fully adjusted to show 1 package of 0.5 pounds. I did another return less refund because it is really shady to update a subscribe and save item from qty6 to qty 1. Now also besides that the value is completely wrong lol. I don't know what they're thinking, ain't no gnochi worth $16 for one package.I deleted my subscribe and save subscription. This was a really good one for a long while but the company managing this item isn't managing it well. Fortunately amazon protected me from ordering a product which had its listing fundamentally altered in a huge way to from great value gnochi to crazy over priced gnochi.The right way to do this is to create a new item with the right qty, not try and see how many orders will be accidentally left on.

We have been satisfied with these in the past, but the most recent batch is rancid tasting. No dates on the package as far as we can find.

I grew up in an Italian suburb of Chicago and love Italian food! I am picky about Italian food so I usually make my own pasta, especially gnocchi, my favorite. When I am short on time, I just boil some water and open a package of Don Bruno Gnocchi. No sulfites like in many other packaged gnocchi brands. In a few minutes I am enjoying gnocchi that is fairly-close to homemade - it cooks up beautifully, has a great taste, and a great texture. Just follow the package directions and you can't go wrong! Highly recommended!

Taste like cardboard, I am disappointed with the quality, when I have time and feel well I make my own,quick style2 cups potato flockes, 2 egg yolk, dash salt , pepper, muscat graded, 2 cups warm water, 1 cup all purpose flour, mix well , roll out to a string about 1 inch diameter, dust with flour, cut 1 inch pc, boiled water with salt, add gnocchi, let cook 4-5 min. Until all are floating on top, in a pan add the sauce of your preference, marinara, 5 cheeses, Alfredo, tomato basil, tomato garlic or pestoMix well, add graded cheese on to and serve.

Very pleased with the taste and freshness of this gnocchi. It's a simple side-dish to prepare, and I usually mix it in with some seasoned chopped tomatoes and sauce. I've tried one other brand which was quite good, too, but I no longer see it listed here on Amazon. This brand is as good as the other one was, and I'm pleased that I can get this here.

We've now tried a few different brands of Gnocchi. Very happy with this brand flavor, texture, and how it cooks up. Appreciate subscribe & save option for this on Amazon. Stores & keeps well in pantry, as well as a full package is often a little more than 2 of us will eat (especially if we serve as a side dish as opposed to main course component), keeps fine in Tupperware in fridge for few days with at least a touch of olive oil on it.
