The best
I have reviewed these before. I will only purchase Milton. The quality is excellent and they last forever.

Absolutely the BEST air coupler and plugs I've ever owned - worth every penny!
I have purchased couplers and plugs from different outlets over the years, all have been manufactured overseas, usually China and they all leak air. Some leak all the time and some leak only when the tiniest bit of stress is placed on the coupler. These couplers do not leak, they are a solid fit and are quality made products. At Amazon prices they cost no more than the leaky ones, if you are looking at them then you probably want/need new ones, just do it, you won't be sorry.Edit: 11/8/2014Still holding up without any air leaks. I do take better care of this coupler set than I have with others I've had over the years. I do not leave tools connected to the coupler when I'm not using them, that is something I never did before, I always left, usually the air blow gun connected at the end of the day, I'm sure didn't help the cheaper couplers.

Quality above the rest of the pack
There is no comparison to these. You can buy cheaper stuff off the rack at car parts stores, hardware stores, or home improvement places. Don't do it. When you compare Milton you will will find that Milton is best. The fittings are cast and formed better. There are no odd machine tool grooves, bad plating, or off-size threads. The brass coupler is a work of art. It locks firmly onto the fitting and releases easily on demand. Once assembled there are no leaks whatsoever. The Milton brass coupler, which requires a pull back on the sleeve to attach and detach, is superior in quickly connecting and disconnecting without losing a lot of air. I can't praise these highly enough, they are fully worth the money.

Made and USA and is the best
Don’t cheap out on some Chinese crap! These are AMERICAN made and the best! These are the best of the best and once I replace broken ones of cheap hoses and tools with Milton I rarely have to change them again!

They bring back the joy of pneumatic tools.
There are few things in this life as irritating as the hiss of a leaky pneumatic fitting accompanied by the frequent and jarring start-up of the associated compressor. Milton quick connect fittings don't leak and thus don't hiss. And they don't cause a heart attack every time the damn compressor starts up. They bring back the joy of pneumatic tools.

Well made, no leaks, does the job
These work fine. I needed some new couplers to add to my air tools. The brass ones are great but I felt the price and my need for several adapters for basic house work didn't warrant the expense. So, got these, used some Teflon tape, and a perfect seal.I've used these on multiple couplings and they work fine. No leaks and good machining.Only four stars because they're not as nice looking as brass and how can you love a coupler

Great longlasting coupler
I used a Milton connector on my service hose for about 5 years. Five or Six days a week working on heavy earthmoving equipment every day. Mostly 'in the field', working in the dirt, mud and on a good day on concrete. I retired in 2007 and brought my tools to my home garage. Since 07 I only use the hose a couple days a week. Last week it started leaking when I removed a tool. Did not leak connected so I left my 1/2" impact connected till this one arrived. I will probably never wear this one out since the pervious one lasted well over 12 years with out leaking. The old one was so scratched up, from dragging on the ground and concrete, it was hard to read 'Milton' on it. When I saw these I knew it was the coupler I use for all those years. Couples and un-couples easily. Yes it is a bit stiffer than my old one but that is to be expected. I ordered this set of couplers because I can always use extra tool connectors and it was only a few dollars more than the coupler alone.

The coupler is hard to engage. Also, you need to depress the coupler in order to engage a tool in it. I recently bought Bostich couplers and I prefer them, easier to operate. The Milton coupler seems to be well made however.
