So play some super old records to break in your needle after several hours or a few days of playing these old records your needle will be conditioned to play almost any kind of record. Stay away from super heavy bassy music until your needle wears a little bit. Otherwise it will start skipping. This is a beautiful player and works beautifully if you have patience to break in the needle. It also records your vinyl onto a USB thumb drive and the recordings come out very nice. It allows you to hook it up to a stereo system or PA system. You can also use headphones it sounds very nice with earphones. The built in speakers are not that good though. But nice headphones or external speakers will make it sound a lot better. It comes with a spare needle and an AC adapter. It’s also a Bluetooth speaker for your phone or tablet receive only not transmit. The turntable features three speeds and pitch control. I have included a few photos and a few videos so you can hear what it sounds like. Recommended. UPDATE i purchased and installed a ceramic phono cartridge, here on Amazon. Its called “Banpa”with the white wing flip needle. Pitch sound improvement without skipping. You don’t need to break in the needle if you install this cartridge/ needle

I absolutely LOVE this player!!! For some reason I've held onto some vinyl records for years, thinking someday they would be worth something. (I'm 54). I haven't seen or touched a phonograph in over 30 years!! Going through my stored stuff, getting ready for my next lifestyle move, I came across my stash of vinyl and thought to myself.....Wouldn't it be cool to listen to the old fashioned records from my youth??? Came across this little beauty on Amazon and said to myself..... "Self.....Why not??" Inexpensive , great sound quality for its sjze, extremely portable!!! I'm thinking of buying this for my niece and nephew for Christmas because I know my older brother has a nice collection of vinyl records in hiding!!!

I purchased this turntable for my 10 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. The sound quality is amazing, you are able to hear every instrument with brilliant clarity. My daughter asked for the “Stranger Things” Season 3 Soundtrack, which has some of the greatest songs from the 80’s. She invited her besties over the next day for a little party, this turntable was a big hit.

Cute, bought for my 11y/o daughter, speakers are very poor quality (to be expected)...does not play records well, skips and won’t play through entire song...spend a little more and get yourself one that is better than toy quality...waste of money.

This record player is just great. It looks nice, it is compact, it sounds good, and it just works. Right out of the box with a new record we were taken back to the day. It is nice enough looking to leave out and small enough to take with you somewhere. Sound from the speakers isn't the highest quality, but certainly not bad at all.

The quality of this turntable is beyond terrible. Every aspect feels cheap and careless.The records spins like a wave (up and down) so much so that the needle will not catch the grooves, it simply scratches the surface. I tried a 33 and a 45, both of which have the same problem.I bought this turntable with no expectations as a cheap stopgap until I saved up for a real one, and it was worse than I ever could have imagined.Please do not buy this turntable for yourself or anyone you care about. It somehow managed to be the low point of 2020.

I read all the reviews but I find the speakers when playing a record are very mid-range due to their size I would suspect. I like the player and features. Using headphones, the vinyl I have sounds better and has a bit more bass. If I were to connect it to an external audio system then I'm sure it would sound very good. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I find it worth the price.

I got this for my husband for Christmas this year.... he had acquired many old records recently and I figured he needed something to play them on. I love how it is portable and can go anywhere. We also like the authentic look of it.... very stylish and retro. We look forward to having people over again ( after COVID) and being able to entertain with old-school records. We are sure it will be a hit among our friends and family.

The sound was great and it paired easily. It's so cool that you can either play records or use bluetooth or usb to play off a device. Its a great size and very portable.

Bought for my wife’s Birthday, she had all these old records and a broken old record player, so bought her this one. She absolutely loves this player, able to enjoy her records again after years. Good sound quality, not super loud but didn’t expect that anyways wife loved the fact you can use it as a Bluetooth speaker from your phone as well. If you want it boomin just hook it up to big speakers/amp. Great buy

I use it almost everyday. The sound is good, it's a record player so don't expect it to have loud base like new technology. Newer records don't sound the greatest on them, example Kylie Minogues newest record "golden" doesn't sound the greatest because of the base on the record but that's expected. Love the look, the size and how easy it is to use.
