Three Stars
The description of this pot is 120v/50hz.The box says 120v/60hz....the booklet says 120v/50hz and the pot is written 120v/60hz.I LIVE IN A COUNTRY THAT USES 120/50HZ. ALMOST ALL POTS ON AMAZON IS DESCRIBED AS 120V/60HZ...I WAS SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THIS POT THE RIGHT SIZE I WANTED AND THE RIGHT CYCLE.I AM MORE THAN DISAPPOINTED AND IT MAKES NO SCENES TO RETURN IT BECAUSE IT COST ME MORE TO GET THIS POT TO ME THEN THE POT COST.

Didn’t use it - returned it. Was too heavy when it arrived. Since it was too heavy empty - I didn’t try to add food to the weight.

Unclear instructions and manual
We got this for stewing abalones, that's why we need the inner ceramic pot. The package says that cooker can steam, stew, braise, and auto warm keeping, etc. But the only 4 functions on the cooker is soup, stew, rice, and congee. I know that if I want stew abalone in the ceramic pot, I use the stew mode. But if I want to steam a chicken, what mode do I use? The manual is very brief, and gives no information and exactly how the functions are different. I want to know if I want to stew, is the cooker on high, medium or low heat? Nope, the manual has no information on these. All I could hear is the boiling sound from the cooker. Each function gives a different recommended hour, but seems to me that the only difference of the functions is the time, not the heat-level of the cooker. The indication of heat-level is very important because it affects how much time I need to cook something.Pro:1. Cooker makes no steam when stewing with ceramic pot. I can't see the steam with my eyes. That means if you put 1n 100% water in, you'll still get at least 90% water after 2-3 hrs of boiling.Con:1. Manual has no information on what mode to use if I want to steam or braise. All it says is to make soup, stew, rice, or congee.2. Manual has no information on how exactly the different functions of the cooker are different or what heat-level each function is on.

convenience
My family love it for the convenience. It turns off itself for the selected function, I don't have to worry to get burnt while I absent from home .So far no complaint.
