Good HEPA filter. Charcoal is very light.
The charcoal filter that came with the unit was 2oz of charcoal in 2 pouches to use side by side.This has the usual black foam only 3/8 oz. You get 2 per HEPA , but that is still less than half. 5 per would equal the original but still changing 5x more often.HEPA airflow is very good.
