I used it in the dining room of our rental.

Looked at many options. This was priced well and just what we needed for the space.Arrived in perfect condition and like to have the option to adjust drop in the future .Would be full five stars but be sure to watch the video for assembly and installation as the instructions are not as clear.

When we moved into our new house, one of the first things we wanted to do was replace the VERY eccentric light fixture in the dining room. The light was fine, just was not our style. I wanted to replace it with something simple and classic that would go with any decor we choose over the years. All of the other fixtures in our house are silver, so my only parameters were that the hardware be silver and any drum or cover be white. I looked at several versions of this style and ultimately chose this one based on the reviews.Everything came packaged nicely and I was pleased to see the drum had a protective cover on it because it's VERY thin and could bend or show dirt easily. Assembly took longer than expected and resulted in a trip to the hardware store right in the middle of the process because the screws that came with it weren't long enough for the ceiling mount. My husband definitely spent more time than he wanted on the whole project.But we're very happy with the end result. It was easy to shorten to fit our space and it does exactly what it was designed to do! My only tiny, minor complaint is that the drum has an obvious seam from where it's glued onto itself to form the circle shape. Really nothing you can do about that, so we just made sure that side was pointing towards the corner back wall so it's less visible.

Some reviewers complained about the lack of details on the instructions and weren’t able to realize that the small escutcheon on the bottom does NOT attach to the inner assembly. Carefully examine the product and calmly piece it together. I’ve installed a bunch of inexpensive drum lights in my home remodel and they’re mostly similar. This light was a good deal and its two-stage drum shade, adds some intrigue for a cool-looking concept at a reasonable price.- Make sure you have all your tools ready. Though I didn’t use a helper, it could help if you had someone to hold the light while you wire it up at ceiling. Ask a friendly neighbor or your lazy kid to stand on a chair for just a minute.- Slow down and look it over. Most imported lights have useless directions as a given but the design and its parts make sense when you sort them out.- Don’t spend more than $50 for a given drum light. They’re foreign sourced and upon examination, constructed of just cheap wire. I paid an avg of $22-$50 for my drum lights on my whole house remodel.

you have to be einstein to figure out how to attach this to to wiring and ceiling. instruction totally useless. i gave up and have it hanging from one bolt because i cannot deal with it any more. instruction in general very poor.

We needed a brighter light in the closet. This picture worked out very well and adds a bit of class to the area. The product was very well packaged and easy to install and assemble.

I purchased three of these for above a conference room table. It can be scary ordering fixture without actually seeing them. These fixture look great, assembled easily and were a good value ( I was once told not to say cheep because it may be taken as poor quality). The quality is really good. They are fairly light weight so hanging them was not bad. The selection of tube to adjust the hanging height could not be easier to use. I highly recommend these fixtures.

Absolutely love it. Various down rods to change the length are included. Well packaged. Easy to assemble. Looks great on and off.I give it a 10 out of 10.
