Champion Sports Wood Practice Discus - Available in Multiple Weights

Great price, very durable, I am a HS coach, our practice area is very hard (Some thin grass, but half is just hard dirt) it is very hard on Discs, for us many of the discs with the plastic plates end up cracked/broken/usless, but these last. The finish may wear with use, but they keep on working , with just a little clear spray every so often to keep them sealed up (so the moisture doesn't get into the wood) they will last for years.

for anybody that likes to throw stuff very far, make sure there is no one in front of you when you throw it.

I bought this for my little sister who recently started throwing discus at school. It is very good for training at home. It has has taken much abuse and bounced off brick walls several times and hardly a scratch on it, very strong and well constructed. I paid less than $20 including s and h. Would definitely recommend

I bought two of these 1.6K discs. One is still going strong, the lasted two throws, and desintegrated on impact at roughly a 150-160ft throw. They may just be designed for beginners, but should state that if so. The other is holding up fine for a warmup disc, but it's craftsmanship is lacking in a few areas.

This has been a good product so far. My son is moving from high school to college to throw and needed to having the college weight disc to work with for the summer. I didn't want to spend $300+ dollars yet for a competition discus and this disc has been great to allow him to adjust to the new weight before deciding which spin rate he will need in a new disc for college (that they will provide).

I bought 2 for transitioning from high school to college discus and training with the new weight, they’re ok disc’s but one of the 2 already has a crack through the wood after only a session or two of throws.

My daughter just started out and she likes this discus the best right now. Feels better in her hands than the plastic/metal rimmed one we got, and much better than the rubber discus. The price is hard to beat, slightly more than rubber discus with more rim weight.
