Great meter
Bought it to test capacitors and it does a great job. Easy to use due to auto ranging. Big bright display. Seems very accurate when comparing to other meters I have. A bit expensive but it is pretty nice and works well.I did have, what I thought was an odd reading, so I called customer service and they put me in touch with a very knowledgeable tech that walked me through it. Considering I am not an HVAC tech I thought was above and beyond customer service. Can't ask for more than that. Great company, great meter.

Excellent Expandable Multimeter
I am an HVAC Technician and I needed to get me a new expandable stick meter to replace my old fieldpiece amp clamp meter. This one is excellent and has all the things I need plus I can buy attachments to expand what it can do for me.

Excellent meter
Got this meter after a recommendation from a friend, this is hands down the best meter I've personally used to include Fluke. Very ergonomic, the backlit display makes it easy to read in any lighting, the magnet strap is a lifesaver sometimes, and the expandability and option to attach multiple accessories is a big plus. The auto ranging can throw you off a bit from time to time but overall I highly recommend this product.

Maintenance
Great product. I use it mainly for refirgation/HVAC. Continuity feature is a plus. Most of my usage is checking temperature readings and continuity testing. After using fluke I prefer this product better, the backlight it a big help when testing. No regrets, definitely recommend.

random number generator ?
I am a Master electrician and hold a class "A" TACL license and have been using meters for 20 years. This meter is really nice, but it does have a strange feature of running through random numbers while testing un-energized circuits.. I had to carry 2 meters around with me the 1st few months I owned this thing.. I didn't trust it because of all the random number generation while in AC voltage test mode... I have been searching for technical support or others who own this thing, but have found little. The unstable nature of this meter in voltage test mode takes some getting used to... Sometimes when it senses real voltage the light comes on and it beeps, but it takes a certain voltage to trigger this comforting feature.. Field Piece may have always been made like this. I have always used Fluke, Ideal, even SQ D WAY back in the tester days...They read "0" volts when the circuit being tested is dead. The field peice reads whatever it feels like generating, which is unsetteling when I am using this thing to safe gaurd against personal injury, death and equipment damage... Other than that one REALLY weird feature I really like the thing... If some one knows something that I don't, I would love feedback. Maybe I am missing something...

My new favorite meter
This is a great multimeter! I've been doing hvac-r for years and this is my new favorite. The fact that you can attach the clamp to your leads and replace panels to take amp draw underload is worth it alone. Don't let the phantom voltage confuse you the meter will beep when it confirms voltage. The backlight could stay on a lil longer before timing out but that's my only real complaint. I would definitely purchase again.
