The Vedge Certified Organic Plant Protein Vanilla Ice Cream is hands down the best vegan protein I’ve tried! The vanilla flavor is absolutely delicious and versatile. I’ve combined it with blueberries, and the result is amazing—like a healthy treat! It also works perfectly mixed into yogurt, pancakes, or even in a Mexican atole for an extra protein boost. The quality is excellent, and it blends smoothly into recipes, making it a staple in my kitchen. My only gripe is that it’s on the expensive side, but the taste and versatility almost make it worth it. If you’re looking for a great vegan protein, this is definitely worth a try!

Great flavor

I have ordered this protein for a while now. I love that the product is clean and that the company is transparent so you know what is in your powder. It’s easy on the stomach and easy to mix with frozen fruit. It does have a mild chalky taste but easy to mask with frozen fruit and milk.

Probably one of the best tasting vanilla vegan protein powders it’s true, definitely like this better than Orgain which has so many filler ingredients other than protein. My gripe is it is absolutely chalky and slightly grainy. At this point I’ve basically realized there’s no way around it with vegan protein powder. I wish people including Vedge themselves would stop making the claim that this is not gritty or chalky, it simply is untrue. i mixed this with just water in a vitamix for 1 min and it was still grainy, there is zero comparison to whey protein in terms of smoothness. This is also the highest priced vegan protein I’ve ever bought other than meal replacers like kachava, wish there was more truthfulness in Vedge advertising especially for this wild price.

Tastes great when blended but if you try to shake it it turns into a weird doughey mess. Do not buy this

It has taken me FOREVER to find a vegan formula vanilla powder that did not taste or smell artificial or full of chemicals. I've tried Vega, OWYN, Vivolife, TB12, and countless others and while some were ok..they all still tasted very artificial to me. Lo and behold....this one nailed it! As a follower of Nimai Delgado's on You Tube, I was keenly interested in trying this one out after hearing rave reviews. It does not disappoint! First off, the smell DOES smell like real vanilla ice cream! (so the name matches the description perfectly). Second, the taste is great: I mixed a half scoop in with my morning oatmeal and it was creamy, subtle and not too sweet. The powder is VERY fine, so the only drawback is that it can get a tad messy upon opening the bag...but that's minor for a very quality product. I'd highly recommend you check it out!

This protein powder is one of the best flavors and doesn’t have a weird aftertaste or texture. I use it to make chocolate chips protein bars and smoothies. It packs quite the protein punch per serving. Ingredients are clean and don’t give any digestive issues. It’s quite expensive though! So I try not to use too much to make it last longer. I love the vanilla and chocolate flavors. The chocolate peanut butter is super gross and a completely different texture. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’ve been buying Vedge protein powder for years - it’s one of the few vegan proteins I’ve genuinely enjoyed using. The taste, mixability, and ingredient profile earned me and my family’s loyalty. But I can’t ignore what’s happened to the packaging. A review from 2021 on this very listing shows the same product at 30.86 oz (875g). Today? 24.72 oz (701g). If my math is correct, that’s roughly a 20% REDUCTION in product - with no corresponding drop in price. No announcement, no transparency, just quietly less powder in the bag. This is textbook shrinkflation, and it’s disappointing from a brand that markets itself on integrity and clean ingredients. If costs went up, raise the price and be honest about it. Most of us would understand. Sneaking less product into the container and hoping nobody notices is a choice that erodes trust. I’m leaving this review because I want other long-time buyers to know what they’re getting - which is less for the same price and because companies should hear that customers do, in fact, notice. The protein itself is still solid. The business practice is not. Disappointed- do better.
