If I leave the usb charger connected, does it drain the battery when it’s not in use (i.e. no usb cable or device is plugged in)?

No, it will not drain the battery if no usb device is connected to it.

Is this product compatible with Lithium power sport batteries?

Yes, but make sure you use a correct charger if that is your plan. Why would you think a cable would not be compatible when used with a battery of similar voltage?

Can i hook a solar panel to the usb port to charge my battery?

The USB will only work off of your 12 volt battery using the ring harness (accessory cable). The solar panel is designed to connect directly to the 12 volt battery by way of ring harness (accessory cable). Our solar panels will not provide a change until it is connected to a 12volt automotive style battery that has at least 3 volts. Customer Service Deltran USA
