Greys S9

This is probably the best entertaining and tragic series that I have ever had the pleasure to watch. In fact I don't watch it on television, I buy the series every year because I can't imagine watching this extraordinary show with moments so harsh and shocking only to be interrupted by commercials or wait for the next week or next season talk about shrinking the....drama. I can't, the shock value is so much more when it's not interrupted plus you get all kinds of fun information on the actors on the characters and not to mention the bloopers and I love How Meredith Grey-Ellen's Pompeo's laugh is so great I start laughing and it's the same laugh in the bloopers as it is in the series and of course how can one outdo McDreamy, McSteamy, McBitchy, and George's famous McVomit....I have bought every years' series, and I will continue until one day some fool cancels it. But I will always have it. How would you like having a person like Cristina Yang..and their guest stars: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyle Chandler, can you say a lot McYummies...but why of why must they always die...Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the dad in Supernatural ....and well let's not reveal anything for those Supernatural fans.... Love this show, the entire cast, and the genius who thought it up! There aren't enough stars in the sky to give to this super medical drama show. OOPs this is for series 1 to 8 I don't think nine is out yet? It won't matter because I will love it as much as loved each and every season. This is for all the seasons fans already know what happened from to 8 and I can't wait for season 9 (which I should have received by now) hint, hint

I had been ordering Grey's for my Son every Christmas because with work and family he was not able to watch week to week. Well this year I was informed that he really missed catching up on Grey's over the Christmas; New Years Holiday Break...OOPS I guess I missed # 7 & 8....OH MY !! Well that could explain why I had such a hard time figuring out what to get him....I guess I totally SPACED it. Well I have now ordered #7 & 8 (Happy Fathers Day and Birthday) And so I don't FORGET again I have pre ordered season #9. Grey's just keeps getting better year after year ! Love it and now Pre Ordering will be a New Years tradition....One more gift out of the way! LOL

This series just keeps getting better. I was actually concerned about where it could go once the original characters finished their residency and how they could maintain interest as several of them left the show over the years. I need not have worried. The standards by and for this show have been held at the constant high level we have come to expect. If you are one of the few who don't like the show or have never seen it, I am not going to put out any spoilers, except to say the indications are strong that there will be an eleventh season! The only sad thing is I have to wait another year before I can own season ten.

Being a young adult who is sick and not able to get out of bed very often, watching greys anatomy helps take my mind off of what's going on with me. It's extremely convenient to be able to order shows on DVD from Amazon and not have to worry because I know I'm getting quality product at a fair price. So, thank-you Amazon for helping improve my quality of life.

I love Grey's Anatomy, but 'seriously', the first 3 seasons were the best. Please bring back Burke!! It was depressing to see 2 important actors die, but at least Meredith and Derek are still there! I am enjoying how they are becoming parents. I don't know what they are doing to Bailey, making her soft and a little nuts. I do not like the new young people. I feel like they are trying to recreate the original group by adding a parallel group of young excited interns to mimic the behavior of Meredith, Christina, etc.

Seems like the episodes are shorter. or is that just me?

I love ALL of the Grey's Anatomy seasons. I didn't start watching until around the time that Season 6 was airing on TV. I watched one episode with a family member and then I was hooked! I bought Season 1 and watched it in less than 24 hours. I caught up with the airing season quickly and still love the show. I love it so much that I rematch all the old seasons when the current seasons are on breaks! It's a very addicting TV show.

The DVD's themselves are wonderful and I would recommend this series to anyone.However, the packaging on these is not great. All five discs are in the one case. This would normally not be a problem, except that the case is made very cheaply and could break in shipping. As long as you are prepared for that though, this is the best you can really find. Just be aware that the case might arrived cracked.

Me encanta grey y todo el elenco

La mia serie preferita in assoluto, nonostante sia il medical drama più longevo di sempre, riesce sempre ad emozionare, commuovere, scioccare, non si può fare a meno di affezionarsi ai personaggi, non si può evitare di amarli !Questo cofanetto contiene 6 dvd e diversi contenuti speciali.L'audio è perfetto, vi è la possibilità di scegliere la lingua originale e i sottotitoli in italiano o viceversa.L'unico neo di questo, e dei precedenti dvd , è quello che i dischetti sono davvero troppo anonimi, grigi e spenti.Avrebbero potuto mettere un personaggio per dvd, renderli più allegri, più da collezione, ma tutto sommato questo piccolo particolare non rende di certo meno interessante i contenuti, che naturalmente sono la cosa più importante.Da collezionare senza alcun dubbio!

Fan je dirais presque malgré moi de cette série -- j'ai longtemps préféré ER/Urgences, découverte en DVD, et pas à la TV-- je suis finalement devenue une vraie addict du Seattle Grace ;)J'ai donc acheté toutes les saisons, que je regarde dans le désordre, en commençant toujours par les morceaux de bravoure que constituent les épisodes à haute tension, à grand pouvoir lacrymogène, qui sont toujours axés sur trois grandes thématiques qui remontent à la naissance des sentiments humains : la trilogie Amour/Mort/Vie.Cette saison 10 ne déroge pas à la règle.Le spectateur lassé, comme moi, d'attendre la diffusion télévisuelle découvre une nouveauté : la possibilité de regarder dans la foulée les épisodes, qui ne sont pas coupés par les publicités. Et Dieu sait que la fin de chacun d'entre eux donne la frénétique envie de regarder le suivant.Il me semble qu'ainsi on est davantage capable de voir l'évolution des personnages principaux et secondaires.Évidemment, on a déjà connu le fameux Syndrome de Stress Post Traumatique après le shooting final de la saison 6. Les scénaristes sont obligés de puiser à nouveau dans cette manne, mais j'ai trouvé qu'elle était exploitée différemment et sur un temps beaucoup plus long que lors de la saison 7. L'ensemble m'a donc paru beaucoup plus sombre. Plus sombre également le regard quasi sociologique porté sur la médecine et la chirurgie qui, en France comme aux États-Unis, sont soumises à un devoir ubuesque de rentabilité. Les "patients" deviennent des "clients" !Comme d'habitude également, de petits nouveaux font leur apparition et ils sont très intéressants, de même que les personnages principaux, qui sont désormais de vrais chirurgiens.C'est souvent des internes que viennent ces fous rires que sait aussi faire naître Shonda Rhymes, avec une mention spéciale à Gaius Charles en Shane Ross !Mort, deuil, regrets, larmes, rires sont à nouveau le cocktail gagnant de cette saison, qui tourne autour du "Carpe diem". Un vrai bonheur...P.S. : la saison 10, qui normalement aurait dû être la dernière sera peut-être suivie d'une 11e saison !
