After lengthy wear they get a little slippery coming out of the water
Love these Tevaโs My husband has feet problems and he loves these Tevaโs. They are soft and comfortable. He wears them everywhere camping daily activities. Heโd wear him to work if he could. These have a very slight arch. Fit is accurate, quality is great for a foam shoe, looks great.

Yep they're mushy
These are hands down the most comfortable flip flops I have ever had. I just bought my second pair. They have a great selection of colors and designs and the prices on Amazon are unbeatable. Many other reviewers have complained about the plastic logo marker inlaid in the heel footbed. Although I do think this is not the most ideal place for this logo I don't think it takes anything away from the comfort aspect and I don't even notice it. Be aware that the footbed will conform to your foot quite well, but this does take away some of the comfort when the foam gets crushed down. That's the reason I bought a second pair. These are great for camping and traveling as they are super light compared to other brands. You can always catch me with these in my backpack on the trail or stuffed in my carry on somewhere. I don't travel without my Tevas. I was very interested in Chacos as a second alternative to these that may be a heavier duty outdoor option, but after looking at them I just couldn't get past the weight of Chacos when compared to the Tevas. The Chacos felt like a brick on my feet where the Tevas are literally like a feather and you don't even notice you're wearing them. Also an advantage for lightweight traveling and backpacking. If you're looking for a quality, lightweight, comfortable footwear option I would not hesitate to pick these up. I think you will be very pleased with all aspects of this simple piece of footwear. Don't leave home without them!

The Standard in affordable, quality flopsโฆ.PERIOD
The standard. And to the coping and seething over tractionโฆโฆNEWSFLASH: THEY ARE FLIP FLOPS!! Been buying these for yeeeears and normally have a new pair waiting soon as they get too flat. I seriously hope they keep making these until I canโt wear them anymore, which I donโt see happening. Also, I started using these years ago because in Thailand you canโt find anything close to this quality or size choices.

Great flips with a couple minor warnings
despite having a flat, featureless footbed, these are the most comfortable flips I've ever had. I'm on pair #2. two notes: 1. the strap is a little tighter than you'd encounter on most brands, so if you have a wide foot you may find these overly snug and binding 2. they are almost dangerously slick out of the bag. On carpet you'd never notice, but if your domicile is a mix of hardwood and linoleum like mine, be careful as you wear these in. That said, I really struggle finding house shoes that don't make me miserable, and these are my #1

This is my second pair
I have had a pair of these for a LONG time, long enough that when the thong on my left sandal gave up the other day I couldn't remember how long it had been since purchasing them. After comparing the soles of the new pair to the old pair... it was obvious I had gotten my moneys worth out of them. You can buy a pair of $.99 flip-flops at Walmart, and get exactly what you paid for. They will be uncomfortable and last long enough so that you can't return them with a 90-day return policy. These Teva sandals are quality pieces, they are comfortable, they slide off easily when desired but stay on when you want them too. If this pair gives up in a few years, I will happily buy another pair. To be fair, I was assembling a swing set in my backyard when the old pair broke, and I may or may not have subjected them to a little too much abuse during the construction process. Definitely was a situation that called for more substantial footwear, I am just an idiot with zero regard for my own wellbeing.

Teva is the best
Long time Teva user. I love their water sandals. That was how I was introduced to Teva. Their shoes are extremely comfy for every day use or out on a trail, also. Their flip-flops are just as comfy as their sandals and shoes. They last about 3 years or more, based on how often you use them. I use them daily and, the last pair lasted 3 years. Bought another pair! They are comfy, durable, and worth every penny spent especially, if you go to the beach a lot or just hanging out. Lastly, the sole forms to your feet so, they become more comfy the more you wear them because, they become "personalized" to your foot... almost like Birkenstock's

Quality of Foam Used has Declined Over the Years...
I've been wearing Teva Mush flip flops for nearly almost 20 years (and its sandals for longer), which undoubtedly dates me, but I think I have a good sample size to know that these flip flops have definitely declined over the years in terms of quality. While one pair would last years, now they only last for a year or year and a half if I am lucky. While fluctuations in weight or gait for that matter could wear these down faster, in my experience it is the material used. It used to take me a while (maybe as much as a month) to actually break in a new pair of Teva flip flops. Now it only takes about a week. The foam being used in these is not nearly as good as it used to be. Many people I know used to compare walking in these to "walking on clouds," but the "mush" is not nearly as cushy as it used to be. The tread wears about the same and the quality and variety of the strap/thong has remained good. Understandably, cutting production costs, changing suppliers, and possibly manufacturing methods is part of a more profitable flip flop. I'll continue to wear these because I like the style, fit, and comfort. I just wish they were priced more fairly if I have to replace them more often.
