I got this to put in the humidifiers around the house. After doing research on this and finding that this particular oil helps fight bacteria and is supposed to reduce anxiety. During this COVID-19 pandemic, why not try it right. I put 3 drops in my kids humidifiers and run them all night. Their room smells way nicer and almost earthy and organic like. Very refreshing. My kids have also seemed to be more in tune with theirselves if that makes any sense. They wake up feeling well rested and ready for the day which is great especially with all this home schooling going on right now.I've been using it in a different way. Normally I have over oily hair and after 1 day of not washing, you can clearly tell it hasn't been washed. I've been putting 2-3 drops directly onto my root area while my hair is still wet after a shower and kind of massaging it in and then i'd blow dry it. So far, my hair has become shinier and softer. The oily hair problem is seeming to space out. Like it doesn't appear oily right when I wake up but more around lunch time before I have to wash my hair so that is definitely an improvement.I'm not sure how it will effect my dogs yet so I keep them out of the rooms. I've heard some dogs have reactions to essential oils.Overall, I'm pleased with this and I will be trying it out in my room as well once I get another humidifier.

Hopefully you will receive this review since it appears you didn't get the last 3 or 4 I've already sent! My opinion of this oil hasn't changed since the last reviews. I love it! It has a heavenly smell. I love this serum mixed with a carrier and Myrrh and Frankencense as a facial serum. It is also nice for my neck, arms and hands. It's not greasy at all...my skin just soaks it in. This oil is also a winner all by itself. I have 3 of your other products and plan to purchase your Grapefruit Oil and your 3 piece antiaging serums. I have signed up to receive information from you concerning uses, discount codes for future purchases, e.t.c. To date I haven't received any correspondence. I would really appreciate whatever discount codes you may have to offer. I used one code when I signed up that was supposed to be $3.00 for my Jasmine Oil but was only credited $2.00 at checkout. I would also be interested in any recipes you might be able to provide. Without a doubt this Indian Sandalwood is my favorite although your Rosehip Oil is a close second! JoAnne

I liked the smell of sandalwood so I purchased it with other SVA essentials oils of 4 oz package, overlooking the fact that in the similar price range of the 4 oz oils, it was clearly stated on the description that the price was for only 1 oz.That is an expensive lesson, and I probably won't order from SVA again on sandalwood oil.The first order never arrives. SVA was nice enough to send me a second order free of charge but upon opening it I realize my mistake.I like SVA's other essential oils such as pine needles, fir needles, and rosemary, so I won't be returning this. However, I find this sandalwood to be smell-less. Since I have very sensitive olfatory sense and have been using essential oil for a while I cannot tell what kind of odorless oil was packaged into the sandalwood glass bottle. Other reviews raves at this oil, so I'm sure what I received was just a bad mistake. Moving forward to look for my real sandalwood oil from other manufactures.

I have received my oil and I love using it as a moisturizer and for its healing properties. Already it's earning it's worth! However, I have one concern. I had bought the Indian sandalwood oil for its medicinal properties it holds within the body! I have UC or ulcertive colitis and taken internally via tea or various methods, sandalwood is a calmer to such things as ulcers among other internal ailments of the body. The huge problem is I did not think about the carrier oils as having such a big roll. While argan oil is becoming more popular in the culinary worlds it poses no harm or threat. Jojoba oil on the other hand has emphasized warning cautioning not to consume for it has been linked with causing heart failure! This is a serious matter. I due urge that a warning note be applied with any of your products containing jojoba oil! I would like to request that perhaps you experiment using just argan oil as your carrier or another consumable oil for your sandalwood so that it can be used to its utmost potential given that this specific essential oil is somewhat of a delicacy! :)

The Product packaging was great. No leaks or cracks. The bottle was wrapped really well in bubble wrap. The oil smells wonderful and you can tell that the carrier oil used is quality from the silky smooth texture it leaves behind vs some that leave a greasy feeling. So far I have only used it by mixing it with my lotion for my feet and face, but I am interested to see how it does on the ends of my hair. You defiantly only need a pea size amount as a little goes a long way. Meaning this bottle will last you quite awhile making it a steal for the price.

I first started using this on my cuticles. I do my own nails so they get hard from the chemicals i use. I seen a difference with in a few times of using it. So i decided to try it on other areas that I find hard to moisturize. I tried it on my elbows. I have one that is so dry it hurts to touch it. I tend to place my wight on it as I sit at my computer. It has softened it enough to where it no longer hurts to touch. The smell is one thing that I really like. It has a nice sandalwood sent. You get 1 fl oz bottle. A little goes a long way.It is a mixture of sandalwood oil, jojoba oil, and argan oil. It goes on easy and soaks in quickly. It states that you can use it hair , face and body. I plan on trying it other places.
