Abbott80139-04 Blood Glucose Control Solution 2 X 0.5 oz. High / Low , Box Of 1

My testing demonstrated the strips and both of my meters to have results within acceptable ranges provided by the strip manufacturer. Like many others, I had trouble locating those ranges. They are not included with the test solution. They can be found on the back side of the paper instructions that are included with each box of test strips, pictures attached. This now makes sense to me as the strip manufacturer may change their test strips in the future which might change the ranges for the testing solution. I performed all tests on both of my meters. I’ve had the meter on the right for about 5 years. I purchase the meter on the left new about two weeks ago as I had concerns about the accuracy of my blood sugar test results recently. There are some deviation between the meters even when using strips from the same package and applying test solution seconds apart. In my observation the deviation is larger on the Hi test solution compared to the Lo solution. I had some old and “expired” test strips from August 2019 that also tested on and found the results to be within the acceptable range and also nearly identical as new, unexpired strips. Not advocating the use of expired strips, but it appears they remain accurate for a good period of time following the expiration date.

Needed to test that the glucometer was giving the most accurate results. The Hi/Lo control solution met that need.

Hope you have better luck finding the control range that your test should fall within ... the control solution instructions said to look at the instructions with my test strips the test strips said it would be found in a certain place and I never found that place I don't understand why the range is not printed on the bottle

Could not make work there was no scale of measurement of what you where looking at had to search on line for anwser.
