I purchased this power rack in April, 2022, for a sale price. It’s held up great so far and I couldn’t beat it for a budget-priced rack. Assembly was pretty easy and the parts, even and especially the bolts, were easily identifiable and packaged well with regard to their proper organization and placement in sequence. Some reviewers suggested this rack sways or isn’t super sturdy. It feels pretty solid when I do pull-ups and dips, though it’s certainly not with some slight movement. This isn’t a rack meant for serious powerlifting anyway. As a side note, I weigh 165 to 170 lbs, typically, and I don’t lift very heavy. The paint has held up well, both the black and the orange colors. No significant deterioration but things will scratch a bit over time and metal rubbing against metal. Plenty of holes for adjusting safety bars and j-hooks—more height options than some at my gym. I purchased the dip bars and an extra set of j-hooks from the the company. Definitely worth it for me. The photo I shared shows some straps hanging from the pull-up bar—I bought those from another company—and I use them for hanging knee raises for my abs. The bench was also from a different company. One thing I wish was different is where the pull-up bar has a declining angle/taper toward its ends. I’m kind of tall (about 6’2”) and have long-ish arms, so I’d like my hands to fit at a certain width but the bar isn’t horizontally straight all the way across (it’s declining) at that distance. It’s not a huge deal but I do a slightly narrower grip pull-up as a result. Plus-side, however, is it has additional intersecting bars to do neutral grip pull-ups, which is great. Another thing that could have been improved is a second set of weight holders on the sides. There are only 2, so it can’t hold a lot of weights on the 2 pegs due to their size and Sunny didn’t sell additional ones as an add on when I last looked. The package is very heavy and large, so be forewarned if it gets dropped off far away from your front door. Plan for help bringing it inside, if you can. Highly recommended for a recreational home gym. I hope this review was helpful. Happy and safe lifting, folks!

I have had this rack for 3 years and it’s an excellent rack, great build, very sturdy. I don’t have the attachment, so I’m not sure of that function. But if you’re looking for a rack, this is excellent quality for a good price, definitely recommend!

Bottom line: Very good power rack with a few cons. The reason I did not give this 5 stars is for the following: 1. The J-Cups that come with the power rack are not padded all around. The part of the j-cup that points away from the power rack is bare metal so if you land the bar on that part or it rolls back, then it can possibly scratch your barbell or vice versa. The same goes with the spotter arms on both ends. They already have the padding on most parts of the J-cups and spotter arms, so why not the ends to add a bit more protection to your fitness equipment? I feel like this is something Sunny can fix very easily and it would increase the value of the power rack immensely. 2. The second reason also has to do with the j-cups and spotter arms. When both j-cups and spotter arms are secured into the frame, they swing pretty easily. If they had an additional locking mechanism like I've seen on some other models to prevent them from swinging, that would be great. For the most part, they are not at risk of flying off but there was one time I was lifting a barbell off the j-cups and moving a little to the side and 1 j-cup did get dislodged. Luckily, the wife was there to put it back while I had the barbell on my back for squats. But it would've been a predicament if it came completely off and no one was there to put it back while I had a barbell with weights on my back. I don't think something like that is likely to happen, but I guess not impossible either. Also, with all of the swinging of the j-cup, it is starting to scratch the frame a little. All in all, the power rack is great value for the money and will be able to accommodate the needs of the majority of weightlifters with a 1000 lbs weight limit. I'd say you get more bang for your buck than more expensive power racks out there. So if you are slinging weights around and plan on going over 1000 lbs, this won't be for you. I would recommend this power cage and don't have any regrets buying it. Assembly was fairly quick and easy as well, especially with someone to help you out. The pull-up bar is great and accommodates all different kinds of grips. Another great thing about this power rack compared to others is that it also has several other possible add-ons as well as a pulley attachment which is a very useful addition. The pulley-cable attachment will be covered in a separate review.

It came in one big box, heavy, two people would make it easy to get inside, but I was able to do it myself with some struggling. Razor blade worked great to open the box. Comes with two open ended box metric wrenches and all the parts are labelled in steps, so easy to put together. A socket and driver makes it go so much faster, couldn't imagine trying to tighten it with the included wrenches. Started at 6pm ended at 830pm, wasn't really trying to do it fast, messed around a bit while doing it. Only time a second person would be helpful is when installing the pull up bar, not impossible without, just a little difficult for me. Left all the bolts loose then tightened them at the end per the directions. Looks nice, fits, no missing parts, but be careful and make sure you look at all the pieces in the box, I almost threw away a piece thinking I had unpacked everything. One of my parts came slightly bent, but when tightening up the piece it flattened out and didn't affect the finished rack. Doesn't rock, doesn't move, I have one 35 pound plate on each side doesn't rock forward or sideways, feels sturdy, especially for the price point. It holds the olympic bar, supports my pull ups, (I'm 215lbs) and again feels good. You won't confuse this with a $2000 rack at a gym but you won't spend the extra $1700, really happy with it, really happy with how easy it was to put together, great buy.

I'm recovering from a pretty gnarly nerve problem that left me in a position to not lift since October of 22. Part of the concern specifically is that as I regain strength in my pecs, I can't trust myself. I can still only do 8 reps of the weight you see in the picture when I bench, and I'm not exactly new to lifting weights. So this cage was purchased specifically for bench press safety as I get back up in weight and recovery from injury. For that, I have no complaints. As far as a squat rack, I didn't like squatting in the cage. I'm 6'5 which is "the limit" stated, I didn't feel super comfortable, so I took squatting outside of the cage and there's no issue. I've only loaded 315 on the JHOOKS and frame on the squat bar, it seems to handle it well enough. I do plan on adding a second set of longer hooks directly beneath, but that's just a safety thing. There is a little wiggle room in the cage, it doesn't bother me. I expect that of almost any inexpensive cage. I can bolt it to my floor, I choose not to at this time. One area that really impressed me was how well the instructions were designed and how simple they made the hardware to identify. I love it when a company goes an extra mile in that step, and they did. I'm happy with it, they have some nice accessories. If I have one complaint, it's that the holes are 3/4" inch, so 1-inch accessories don't work, but they've had every accessory I could have wanted.

I love this tower! I can do pull ups, dips (with the separately purchased attachments), bench press, squats. The cage is stable for all of this. It fits in my already tight office at home (because our garage has no room). I also really like the size and feel of the pull-up bar and dip attachments. Good variety of hold positions, too. Tips: If you have lower ceilings like I do, you can mount the pull-up bar down a couple notches on the posts and still have plenty of vertical room. Just watch out for any ceiling fans! If you plan to use elastic bands on the floor posts, be sure you load up the plate storage posts with a lot of weight. (I have not tested this with any bands.) The only negative I have is: when I do bench press, the safety bars are either too high (and inhibit my range of motion) or too low (and my chest could be crushed). So, I occasionally have my wife spot if I am going for a new personal record.

Long story short, it was this or the Tonal. I did my YouTube video research, found this item similar to recommended items. Great price for a beginner like myself. Easy to install and super sturdy! I have that textured foam flooring in the basement and it does not budge, even when I jump on pull-up bar (inverted option, love that) and swing to get my chin up. I highly recommend for those that are as skeptical as I am about trying new things. I’m 230lbs and I feel confident in its ability to hold my weight even though it was super easy to assemble. Note* Package comes with 2 wrenches dual sided 18mm/16mm. I just used my socket wrench and hardly broke a sweat, until I had to tighten bolts. I assembled myself, but I recommend a second person for safety. I’m thinking of getting the pulley system that attaches. Just waiting on my bench and bar. Love me some Amazon prime.

I bought a crap ton of products from Sunny and I have to say I am completely impressed. I bought the larger, full squat rack (this one), but also their heavy duty adjustable bench, and the Lat pull down attachment, among other accessories and products. I think putting these items together probably involved hundreds of parts and guess what- not a single one was missing or defective. The instructions must be followed step by step but if you are patient and follow them, you will be impressed with the final product. Super sturdy, good looking (looks like gym quality actually), and relatively affordable. I have been weight training my entire 50 years on the planet, I have belonged to many gyms across the country, and traveled and used gyms all over. This gear is as good if not better than you can get in the commercial gym. I give Sunny and their products an A++++.

Solid squat rack, great price and quality. I would recommend.

Great product. although holes are 2cm and that's quite limiting. but aside from that detail, everything else is sturdy, stable, polished finishings as one touches and very professional and premium look despite being low-priced in comparison to others. Globally its a great rack which aside from the stability, it disposes of both a brilliant multi-grip pull/chin-up bar with anti-slippery finish + great adjustable spotter bars which btw are rubber-protected which is great to both protect our barbells but also do not wake-up wifey and kids (& neighbours) with early IRON trainings. For the holes, we still can find compatible material thought, from lever-arms to squat-lever-arm although you really need to pay attention that holes are 2,1cm's/0,78 inches ! Great product for anyone wanting to explore the basics with a qualitative power rack: Thumbs Up

اول شي جايه معه مفكاته، والمسامير الي تربط فيه فيه بلاستيكه فيصعب ربطه لكن ان شاء الله انه ما راح يرتخي مع الوقت تركيبه سهل انا لحالي ركبته بدون مساعده، حجمه كبير بشكل جيد مريح الحركه فيه اذا شفته ما تقول انه رخيص جودته زينه صحيح انه مب ثقيل زي الغاليات لكن حط عليها اثقال عشان يثقل، ما يترنح او انه خفيف عني استخدم البار لتمرين العقله بدون ما احط عليه اثقال ولا يتحرك معي بالعكس ثابت ولا قد خفت انه يطيح او انه مب امن انصح بشرائه وبقوه خاصه اذا تتمرن لحالك لسلامه سبب الشراء سويت سكوات بالبار ونشبت الا لحظه وحقيقه تورطت شوي السلامه اولا
