The Night the Reindeer Saved Christmas: Discover how Santa met his reindeer in this festive, feminist picture book

My little boy who is 4 loved reading this. I ensure I fill his shelf with books remembering the diverse world we live in, it’s important that he too sees himself represented. What I loved is Mrs Santa plays an integral role in this too and for once it’s not the stereotypical white Santa big white beard. We need all figures to be accessible to all and so more books changing the usual Narrative. It was also a fun spin story

This story is a brilliant way to teach kids about the Santa’s reindeer fact that does the rounds every Christmas - that they’re actually female because only female reindeer keep their antlers in winter! It has amazing facts about lots of animals and is a fun story with a mild amount of peril to keep kids engaged (and laughing). It also features a diverse Claus family and elves. A must buy!

This is the most wonderful, Christmassy story to read with my toddler. It’s his current favourite (we’ve read it five times today). The illustrations are beautiful, and we loved learning about the different creatures at the North Pole. My toddler and I both strongly recommend!

My toddler son and I loved reading this together. The book is such a joy with lots of different characters embracing diversity in every way. We will be buying it as gifts for our family and friends. Definitely would recommend to buy and at such a good price!

My 2 children (4 and 6) loved this book. The fun storyline, combined with beautiful artwork and the facts about the arctic animals kept both fully entertained! I loved the surprise of the reindeers being girls!
