I have a lot of damage from celiac disease and struggle to absorb nutrients from food. I like to keep liquid nutrition on hand in case I can’t find something gluten egg and dairy free on the go bc they all make me sick. Most nutrition drinks have a whole lot of high fructose corn syrup and/or agave both of which affect my blood sugar/metabolism too much and make me gain weight. I don’t want to gain weight. I like that these are lower calorie options with ingredients that I’m ok with. When drinking it’s thinner and smooth which I like. Many nutrition drinks are thick and/or grainy. The aftertaste is fine and I’m VERY sensitive to aftertaste (I won’t even drink coffee). The taste is light- almost like if you had a rice milk that you added some stevia and chocolate to - how that would taste. It goes down easy and I like room temp as well as cold. Now the MAIN reason I wrote this review is bc of my nutrient deficiencies I get a lot of headaches. I drank my first one and literally felt it go to my brain giving it what it needed and soothed away my headache. I can often do this with supplements but it’s hard to guess what I need at any given time and it usually takes a good hour to digest a pill. I had an IV today to help with deficiencies and that wasn’t enough for my headache so I’m not sure if it was the two combined or not but 15 min after I drank the drink my nutrient deficiency headache was gone. I drank another for good measure and as long as I don’t gain weight on this drink I might have it for breakfast every day now.

This supplement did taste good, but is beyond my budget for regular use.

This product cost just as much as a 12 pack of a different brand of shake, and its only a sample pack. Not to mention the shake was half the size of the other brand as well. The chocolate shake was decently flavored but the vanilla was not even drinkable. Tasted like someone made a chalk smoothie. I am so mad that I cannot get my money back. I should have never purchased this product.

I was hoping beyond reason that I would like this product. Wrong, the taste is awful-please understand that I refuse to drink milit also caused a gaseous byproduct. If you like milk and have no problems with milk— then go for it.Well packaged and delivered early.Just not for me.

It's nutritious and taste good. Ostentatious packaging is a bad idea. Ditching it would knock a bit of the price; which, of course, would add to its popularity.

I saw this product was relatively new on Amazon and decided to give it a try. First impressions - out of the box, it definitely has a premium feel and look. It comes in a sturdy box and with a nice insert that explains the ingredients and benefits of them.The taste itself is pretty consistent. Many ready to drink replacement shakes have a chalky aftertaste but both the vanilla and chocolate had a smooth consistency. Taste it better than what you would expect with something so healthy. It won't be as sweet as those sugar-packed drinks out there. I think I liked the vanilla a little bit more than the chocolate.I'm in my 30s and plan to order for my mom who is nearing 60 - just had to make sure it was not chalky and the taste was good.Can't wait for a larger pack size or even more flavors!

Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey but thought I'd try it anyway. I didn't care for the flavor a bit and decided that my test was over. I won't be buying any more of this product.

As a dairy lover who had to adopt a vegan diet for several months when my son was a newborn, I generally did not enjoy the dairy alternatives or nutrition drinks that were available.  Many non-dairy nutrition drinks have a grainy texture and bland taste.  Perennial Daily Gut & Brain, however, is very smooth and refreshing.  This is now my go-to as a busy parent, especially since it has 8g of protein and all the nutrients for a balanced meal.  Perennial kept me going and made me feel great.  Although I missed dairy, I never missed the bloating and discomfort, something that Perennial Daily Gut & Brain doesn’t do to me.  My parents also love this drink because it is packed with folate and DHA, both very important for brain health.
