The Truth About Witchcraft (Llewellyn's New-age)

Great little book, cannot go wrong wrong with this book, exactly what the book says, a great great for any new witches who want to read to on the history or anybody interested in witchcraft history. Another good book by Scott Cunningham, one of my favourite authors

Although it is a pocket sized book, it certainly doesn't lack in terms of knowledge from the great man himself.

Extremely well written for the lay person, non-confusing, and highly informative. They don't write books this informative any more.

I'm 15 and a year ago I found this on my mom's bookshelf from when she was at uni. It captured my interest so I decided to read it and it was a very basic and easy to understand introduction to Wicca and witchcraft, and it inspired me to get more books on the subject and learn more. Thanks to this book I am now on the path to becoming a solitary Wiccan. I would also recommend this book to people who are not interested in pursuing a Wiccan lifestyle but who want to find out a little bit about what it's all about

This is a good book to give to friends and family who might be concerned by your new found interest in witchcraft as it will put their mind at ease. I don't feel I learned very much from it, and it does seem to labour the point "we don't worship the devil" a bit.

Mixed feelings. If this is truly the path you wish to follow, then study and keep on studying to become a true Pagan.

Just what I expected, very well written and informative.

Interresting reading

Dispels myths about the craft. Would be useful to have family members read who have not a clue about what witchcraft is really about and exactly what it isn’t. It doesn’t matter that this book is not a recently published book. It is written by an expert in the field.

Easy to comprehend and very interesting! Lots of history and basics for anyone doing research, but not boring at all! Definitely a good mixture of story-telling/analogies and facts.
