I bought this for our second baby's crib. We have a similar mattress for our son and thought this was the same but was a little different. My 6 year old slept on it one day and said it was firm but comfortable and slept very well. Quality seems good. This is not a two sided mattress (baby/toddler) or if it is, it does not have a tag indicating it is.

We've used this mattress for 6 months now and have been happy with it. It was firm enough for our newborn to sleep on and yet comfortable enough for a toddler to use regularly. I bought it because it said it was "eco- friendlier" and was pleased that it never smelled (unlike some other baby mattresses). It would be a 5 star mattress but I disagree that it has a waterproof layer. Before using it, I poured two tablespoons of water onto the mattress and the water made a large wet spot because the water didn't roll off (like it should if waterproof) not could it be wiped off and took awhile to dry. A nighttime accident would have made the mattress unusable for the rest of the night. That being said, I'm content with this mattress once I bought a waterproof cover for it.

UPDATE: Almost 3 years and two kids later, this mattress is still going strong. It still looks good, no sagging spots or indentations, and has even held up well to mom laying on the bed too at times. We would happily buy this mattress again!ORIGINAL REVIEW: While it isn't the most eco friendly and health conscious mattress out there, it is certainly the best one for the price! No smell when coming out of the bag, though we did air it for a couple days since we were out of town for the weekend. Fit perfectly in the Orbelle 3-6T toddler bed we purchased. Nice and tight! Most crib mattresses I have seen have rounded corners, which means it's not a very tight fit as it should be. The Colgate mattress has 90 degree corners, so it fits very snugly. No issues with fitted sheets going on properly. We are very happy with this mattress and our son is very comfortable. Highly recommend!

I ordered this product, and although I haven't had my baby yet, this product looks great. It is firm (which is good for the baby), and it doesn't have any bad smells (like some of the comments I read had mentioned). It's a standard fit in cribs, so you don't have to worry about whether or not it'll fit on the crib.Update: So, my baby is 10 months old now. Mattress is great! no problems so far!

The mattress is super firm, which is safe for baby, doesn't have springs which will prevent a curious toddler from jumping later on, has no smell whatsoever, the mattress itself is waterproof and has a beautiful design, fits very snug in the crib, and is super light, making it easy to change the mattress covers. It's also a fairly decent price.

Good option for the money, but I wish the non-toxic, eco part was a bit more thoroughly vetted and legitimate.

This is the perfect crib mattress. It's firm without it being uncomfortably hard on the baby. It arrived and there was no chemical smell permeating it. My baby slept on it the first day because we didn't even have to air it. It's also very lightweight and therefore easy to put on the fitted sheet.

My daughter sleeps on this mattress every night with no problems. And it's ecofriendly too! :)
