Dovecote Manor Bird House – Pure Copper Roof by Good Directions

I was a little skeptical to order this because of the reviews saying it arrived broken, but I’m glad I ordered it!! It is the most beautiful birdhouse I have ever owned!! Very quality merchandise! Worth every penny! It was packed great and no damage whatsoever!! In fact, it’s made so well with thick wood that I don’t know how it could break!! It is huge!! Very satisfied!

My birdhouse came broken and no top

This bird house is absolutely amazing. Solid and built to last. I love the shape of the pure copper roof.My neighbors love it too. Packaged very nicely and arrived undamaged. It was shipped much faster than expected. Excellent product just as advertised. This bird house is a must buy!!!

Love this. Looked at exact same birdhouse from other sites that were charging HUNDREDS more. Those Woodworkers from Massachusetts, to be specific. Solid construction, quality build. This will last a very long time.

BEWARE - Arrived missing the copper top & damaged. Maybe a second?Packaged very nicely. However: 1) it arrived without the copper top [which is what I wanted on the birdhouse and paid for - no way was this worth over $300 without it] 2) it arrived damaged - one of the pieces had broken off and was lose in the box, 3) Box appeared to have been opened and resealed - which leads me to believe it either had been returned before and/or was sold as a less than first quality item, 4) made of wood, sturdy, but was not easy/impossible to remove the round wood divider between the first and second level, 5) interior wood was not primed or finished which will lead to early wood decay and warping.

When I first viewed this product I thought it was a little pricey, but once it arrived, wow! it is worth every penny! the roof is just amazing and the has inserts that you can take out to clean each compartment out whenever you need to (and the pieces only go in way making it even easier). Its been bad weather for awhile so I haven't gotten it up yet but with he eight large compartments plenty of birds in the spring will have a house. I read that you just slip it over a post which will make installing it a breeze. The pictures don't do this product justice. I cannot wait to get up outside!!

Does anyone know if this will fot a 4x4 Post, it sure doesn't look like it, and I spent a lot of money

Our only complain is that one of the perches had broken off during shipping but wood glue and a screw took care of it.Didn’t contact seller about the broken piece since it was an easy fix.
