The race track is awesome and the cars are very fast. It is fun to build and exciting to watch the cars race around the track. The cars stay on the track good, but one warning - they go FAST! Everything was great until the day my grandson was holding the car in his hand while sitting next to his sister, who has long thick hair. The car was on. All of a sudden the fast wheels grabbed her hair and the wheels wound around about four inches of her hair and then stopped moving, but the car was still running. She was screaming because it was pulling her scalp. Luckily my husband was right next to her. He grabbed the car, clicked it off and then began to unwind each hair. Only a few hairs were wound so tight that we had to actually cut them to get the car loose. This accident was terrifying at the moment. We now have new rules with playing with this race track set. All hair must be wrapped up in a bun, and no one plays with the cars away from the track. Please take this warning seriously!

The media could not be loaded.  The track is easy to snap together. It has a loop, a banked turn, a tunnel to go through, doors that bump open, and a bridge that opens up. The 2 vehicles move fast, and have bright LED lights. My Great Grandson is 3 3/4 yrs old, and he absolutely loved it, and was fascinated with it every minute of the two days he was here. When it’s time to put the track up, it easily rolls up. I tried to put in a picture of it rolled up, because it’s pretty amazing, but they only allow one picture or video. The other good thing about the track is that it’s not stuck in any one position. You can change the shape as the cars race around it. The best advice I can give you is to have plenty of AAA batteries on hand, because they’ll play with it till the batteries are dead. It also comes with lots of little extras to set up their construction site. It’ll also connect with any other Magic Trax set.

This toy is all kinds of awesome! It has provided hours upon hours of entertainment for my 4 year old and even my almost 2 year old. They both know how to build the tracks now. We brought it to an extended family trip and it was the favorite for all kids, 11 year olds to 2 year olds. The only criticism I have is that the draw bridge component doesn’t work very well. It also would not be good for any kids who still put little pieces in their mouth, thankfully that’s not a concern for my little one. And finally, any users would need to be able to comprehend not to put the running vehicles by their hair, because those battery powered wheels will wrap hair up in a second and need to be cut out.

I think we have every magic track compatible set in existence (name brand and off brand) and we make epic tracks throughout the entire 1st floor of our house. This one was a bit of a bust. We thought the loop would be so neat but it is very problematic. First, the two grey pieces are very slightly different and I didn't see anything that said that on the instructions. You can put it together with those pieces reversed and if you do, the loop is ever so slightly off that the car won't go up it but instead jam.The cars also need full battery power to go through the loop. Our rechargeable batteries don't have enough power after just a short time in use.When I bought this, I wondered how the cars would go through the loop and stay on. After buying it, it was easy to see that the cars that came with this set have little hooks on the bottom so only the cars in this set will do the loop. These cars are a bit too big to work with some pieces in the other magic track sets so it is hard to incorporate this with any other "compatible" sets. I also don't see where you can buy the special cars individually if they break or if you want more cars.

My 3 year old loves this set! It is easy to assemble and clean up. My only complaint is that one of the trucks broke in about 3 days. The wheel came off the axel, so we couldn’t even fix it.

This was Awesome for my 3yr old grandson, he was completely Excited when he seen it and has a blast playing and watching the trucks go around and round.... it was very well made, the track, even the "loop da loop" lol. It looks a little wobbly in the video, but you can place it better. But it is extremely durable and I think the Perfect 1st Track for a 3yr old. He does play hard, we call him our little seek and destroy for fun. But it is still in perfect shape even though we have had to readjust from time to time. The only con I have is that I haven't purchased the 4-AAA Batteries its required.

Our son (2 years old) usually plays with a toy for 5 minutes then it’s on to the next one. It’s been an hour and a half and he’s still playing with this thing! A+, easy to put together just make sure to have 4 AAA batteries.We kept all the construction cones and smaller things in the bag so that it’s just the tractors and the track and he LOVES it!

My nephews love these tracks and we now have to sets that we can combine together to make a giant track. Only two issues with them. The cars eat the batteries up after a couple hours of play so you have to change them often, and the wheels can easily get clogged with debris when played with off the track. Well, just keep them on the track you think, but to a 5 year old and a 3 year old the whole world is their track no matter how you explain it.
