These took a minute to get used to. Sort of felt like a lil baby horse. I’m used to themnow and the yellow color is bright and earthy. I want a collection of them :)

Excellent quality clogs, but they run small. Order up a size. I typically wear 8.5/39, but ended up with a 9-9.5/40. The return-reorder process was easy and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

These are beautifully handcrafted wood and leather clogs. I purchased the plum and they are simply stunning. When I first put them on they were a bit snug around the top of my foot. I read the inserts included in the packaging and it recommended that I wear them around the house for a few hours at a time over a few days to help the leather begin to soften. I followed these instructions and yesterday was the first day I wore them to work. I did quite a bit of walking around in them and they were a good fit and I enjoyed the sounds the shoes make. I suspect they will loosen up a bit more as the leather warms and stretches. The craftsmanship of these clogs is evident as soon as you unbox them. I will definitely be buying more Sandgrens. Side note, I have average width feet and high arches and ordered a 40. 🙂

The first ordered size 38 which is the European size I always order for the many Dansko clogs I have worn for years. 38s were to small and I needed to order size 39. These clogs are different from Dansko because they are solid wood, like the ones I first wore in the early 1980s. I have worn and enjoyed Dansko clogs but was excited to try Sandgrens because I anticipated them to be like my first clogs. I decided on the closed back clogs rather than the open back like I used to wear. I LOVE THESE CLOGS! They are different from other clogs because these are solid wood and do not have any added cushioning or arch support. As suggested by the company, you need to take time to get used to wearing these clogs because they are different. For me as a person with arthritis these clogs are great because while they support my feet they also allow for my feet to be swollen and yet still comfortable to wear.

These clogs are rather pricey, but I wanted to try them. Since I grew up in Europe and have always worn a size 39 I didn't give it much thought. I had a tough time putting them on. The instep is rather tight. Once I had them on, the length was ok, but not much room for a clog. I also felt that the heel was loose. Now this could just be the way my feet are, narrow heels and high instep, but I did return them. I do love the way they look and I might try a size 40.

The shoes are incredibly sturdy and of excellent quality. However, the shoes run small as I ordered a 39, and most 39 sized shoes fit me very well. Also, the color of the two shoes does not match very well. One plum shoe is noticeably darker than the other plum shoe. I will keep the shoes only because the shipping from South Korea would not be cost effective to return them. I have had several compliments on these shoes even though I have limited opportunities to wear them since they are a warmer weather shoe as I cannot wear them with socks.

I read many reviews saying that people thought the shoes ran small. I wear a 9 womens and the overall size was true to size. The only thing was that the heel fit loosely. I think they are made beautifully and would buy another pair!

I was excited about this pair because I love the look of them however the fit was poor and they were terribly uncomfortable. My normal size of 38 was too small in this clog. I ended up returning them instead of an exchange because I didn’t believe sizing up would make a difference with comfort. Bummer.
