This stand is better than expected! It is well made and sturdy. The cupcakes looked amazing in this!As far as the negative reviews on the locking sides and handle: we just followed other positive reviewers advice and used the lines at bottom and we carried it by the bottom instead of by the handle for support. So far, no complaints. We like that it is multi-use. We plan to use the lid as a taller cake cover for layered cakes! Don’t hesitate, just Buy it!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Already in love with this carrier/stand. It was shipped to my home and arrived in perfect condition. I used it today for the first time to carry cupcakes to an Easter potluck. The icing on my cupcakes wasn't especially high, but when the tiers are put together, there's plenty of room even for a larger heighth of frosting. The entire carrier is easy to assemble with the pieces simply twisting together. At the potluck, all I had to do was remove the lid, and voila! The cupcakes were on display. The display is very sturdy and stands straight. I didn't use a ribbon in the provided holes, but the stand is pretty cute all on its own. Received many compliments on the whole setup.I was worried about whether the cupcake wells would be deep enough, but I had no problems getting all 24 cupcakes safely to their destination. I was on a public bus for around 15 minutes, and not a single cupcake tipped or even wobbled the slightest.I also love to make cake pops, so the fact that this doubles as a cake pop carrier/display is a big bonus. I researched several other carrier/stand combos before making this purchase, and I'm definitely pleased I went with this one in the end!

Absolutely LOVE this cupcake stand!! I’ve been needing a 24 cupcake carrier for a long time and after comparing dozens and reading reviews, I am SO happy with my purchase! It is a tiny bit wobbly, but much more stable than the $60 acrylic stand I have without a cover. With the cover on, I lift by the handle then slide my hand underneath to carry- can’t be too careful! In traveling with it, I carried the plain cupcakes to the party then decorated them there. The wells are a little shallow for me to be totally comfortable with highly decorated cupcakes, but may try it one day. And there are several different level styles in the booklet, I just picked the one best for my cupcakes. Very versatile and I love the eyelets for ribbon! Five stars!!

This tier functions well as a display piece. It's not as great for transporting cupcakes though. I purchased this for my friend's wedding, and loved how it looked. I especially liked that I could weave my own color of ribbon through the holes on the tiers to customize it a bit. However, the inset circles where you place the cupcakes are very shallow, so the cupcakes on the top and middle tier are very unsteady. I ended up transporting the cupcakes in a separate carrier and setting up the display at the wedding, since several fell off the tier when I was carrying it to my car. I would give five stars if the circles were a little deeper to hold the cupcakes better during transport.

I have several different kinds of cupcake carriers (enough to transport 10 dozen cupcakes at least) and this is by far my favorite. My only complaint (if it even is one), would be that the segments are not attached to each other. This is good in some ways, but when you take the lid off you have to make sure you keep it all together. It cannot be turned upside down. Once you get the hang of the center support sections and how it goes together, this is a wonderful item! It compacts to store easily and securely holds my yummy creations. It can also be decorated for the occasion with ribbon and you can display the treats without having to remove them to something else. It takes a little time to weave the ribbon into the holes, but it is so worth it! I do cupcakes for all my coworkers birthdays, as well as my niece and nephew who live 2.5 hours away. This carrier has traveled a few times, and so far I have not had any cupcakes break free and move around. All I have to do when I arrive is take off the top and they are ready to go! Note: I have NOT used it for cakepops, so I cannot say how well it works for those ;-)

JANUARY 29, 2023 UPDATE FROM NOVEMBER 2921 REVIEWI STILL LOVE THIS CARRIER.I have found a better way to glue the top. I glued each tier using the inside ridge then pulled it to the extended position with the center post inplace (I saved the posts after I cut them out). When fully dry, the seal is much stronger. The largest cake I have carried in it: a 10" tall cake with elaborate flowers on a 12" x 1" diameter cake board.PS: NO MATTER WHAT CAKE CARRIER YOU USE, ALWAYS CARRY IT FROM THE BOTTOM. NEVER USE THE TOP HANDLE ONLY. Nothing is perfect.NOVEMBER 23, 2021 UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL REVIEWI still love this carrier. I wanted to post a photo showing an elaborate tiered cake with flowers. As you can see, it works great as a tall cake carrier. This cake, including the ½" cake board, measured out at 9½".YES YOU CAN!!!All answers to this question have been no but I did it. I bought this carrier for the sole purpose of transporting tall cakes.I had to modify the carrier but I knew I would have to. First I glued the cover when it was fully extended using clear Silicone caulking. I put the tiers in place to hold the cover up then glued it on the outside. When it was dry, I glued it in the inside. When this was completely dry, I cut the dome that came down from the inside of the cover out. I glued the green disk back in place to outside of the cover. I then cut off the tube piece on the bottom (where the tiers attach). Now with the tube gone, the bottom plate (the cover snaps onto this plate) is completely flat. I can now carry a cake on a 12" cake board that can be as tall as 11½".It does take a little work & yes it cannot be returned & warranty will no longer be valid but to me it was totally worth it. I would never have used this carrier for cupcakes or cake pops since I have other carriers already for that purpose but now I no longer have to worry about transporting my tall elaborate cakes.Just think outside the box!

This carrier is awesome. Holds everything and collapses for storing.
